How did ‘Rampage’ do? I know it had The Rock in it, and he normally gets a decent return.

Wikipedia strongly disagreed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_f ... ideo_games

I think Mojo is only using US totals.

How the FUCK did Resident Evil The Final Chapter do better than any of the far superior earlier films?

It is indeed.

I'm presuming Warcraft would have done better in the Asian market.

I don’t want Ryan Reynolds voicing Pikachu. There, I said it. Glad I got that off my chest.

It would have been a great film if they cut 30+ minutes of needless bloat out of it.

This guy was not kidding. Holy flying fuck.

I turned it on for 5 minutes to see what it looked like and now I’ve watched an hour and I might be late to bed.

I watched this last night, here is how I have pitched it to our Saturday Night Games WhatsApp group.

----------

HELLO EVERYONE, do you want one of my splendid top tips for an awesome film to watch? Of course you do. As such, I recommend THE NIGHT COMES FOR US on Netflix. It’s an Indonesian action beat-em-up style affair, and is the bloodiest, crunchiest, bone-snappingest, head-explodiest, stabbiest, choppiest, most amazeballs action-fest I’ve ever seen.

Do you want to see a baddie’s head get vaporized at point blank range with an assault rifle? This has you covered.

Netflix give it their 18+ rating which is quite unusual as they normally go for 16+ even on fairly brutal content.

Unless you are a BIG SOFT WOMAN, you should watch this film.

Absolutely, as long as you enjoy NEAR CONSTANT EXTREME GRAPHIC VIOLENCE.

I certainly wouldn't sit down to watch it with Mrs Hearthly.

You gave the impression that it was because she was a female. I don't think you meant your comment to be sexist at all, but it did come across a bit like that unfortunately.

Oh right OK it wasn't intended like that at all, Mrs Hearthly is OK with some sorts of violence in films but generally steers clear, she couldn't watch Reservoir Dogs at all past a certain scene.

In fairness The Night Comes For Us is probably more on the 'action' style of violence than the truly sadistic side so even though she might be OK with it in that regard, it really wouldn't be her cup of tea at all from a genre perspective. (All that bone snapping and exploding/caving in of heads wouldn't be a favourite though.)

TBH with the way caring for Jnr works out we get very little time to sit down and watch telly/films together, and when we do get proper together time we're far more likely to go for a meal, or a walk, or play some videogames together as that's far more interactive than just sitting in silence looking at a screen. (Or of course, do 'other things' :hat: )
