Like sdg says, those with a survive condition just want to live. Those who are now cult probably need a certain number of cult recruits to meet their win condition, hence the calling for no lynchings to allow for further recruiting.

It seems reasonable to assume that sdg and Mr Dave may be in this cult, but unless anyone has a kill all cultists win condition then it doesn't really matter.

I would like a lynch to speed this along.

The day started with trooper saying looks like someone didn't get the memo so it seems there were night actions carried out. I'm only proposing we attempt a night of fully no night actions, not sitting here in perpetuity. If it doesn't work tonight, then fine, business as usual. I don't think there's any point now though because some people just can't help themselves from voting, despite just having seen a night phase pass with no kills and there appearing to be literally no reason why not attacking would mean we don't survive!

I'm not cult, but another reason to be happy to wait is that it wouldn't be the worst thing if I got recruited. Then at least I would have people on my side when the bloodthirsty mob decided to lynch. Plus, I would still survive!

I am not sure why a Kill did not happen, but folks pressed buttons. So the do nothing only aids the killers or recruiters. Which are you?

Neither. You're completely failing to even think about peoples motivations. No change there then.

My motivation is to survive.

I take that as not sitting and waiting to die!

And Mr Dave's argument is that the bad guys are neutered at the moment as we had no kills last night.

A bit late, but I don't think you can do this.

It says 6 no lynch votes are required to do nothing on the counter, so the syntax will need changing.

I'm going by the first post in each thread. Buggered if I'm going to change the counter, though.

Perhaps then have been unluck and hit an empty room... not sure how the killing is done by room or name.

If it is by room, we have an equal chance to survive. If it is by name, not sure what happened then.

The mafia had a list of who was in each numbered room. Craster said so.

The idea that the bad folk will happily join in with "not pressing any buttons" is laughable.

But mainly your juatification "I just want to kill"

Honestly, there aren't words to express the contempt.

Its the justification many have given.

I'm wryly grinning at the "oh my god, someones behaving differently from the mob. Kill him!" Despite my behaviour being decidedly pacifist and not making any sense for a villian

I suppose it comes down to me not being comfortable making someone lose unless I know thete's a reason for it. So Im hopeful, although not necessarily convinced, of a situation where thats possible.

Right.. this could be a long game if.....

The mafia can't kill and/or the cult can't recruit. This will be a stale mate then.

Id hope at that point the game is called and Those tasked with survival will have done so.

Although, again with no rules, its all guesswork.

(and this is why I dislike tje survive win condition, no team work)

I'm still around, will place a vote if necessary if that seems to be the will of the group but it seems nuts. All we have to do is survive and we're killing each other?!

So we are going to let them tell the same lies tonight?
