At the start of Day Two? When we have some info?

Yes.

I am not going to press anything.

While technically true, it isn't the sort of statement someone with no buttons would make.

Okay. Wouldn't it be sensible for you to reveal the whole list to us?
*Crzzt*

That would give the baddies a kill list. I am hopeful that they do not possess the list, so are firing blindly.

*Crzzt*
I buy that, although it makes life hard.

Assuming you're telling the truth, I guess you're best placed to tell me which button to press next, then?

Closer to the end of the day, I'll tell you who I would pick, but it depends on whether or not we lynch Craster, and what the result is.

If anyone else got any info last night, or pressed a button and nothing happened, or anything like that, now would be a good time to tell us. Even if you chose not to press anything.

Yesterday I said I pressed button 10.

This was a lie, because there are no numbered buttons in my cell. I just wanted to fit in. Instead there was an unlabeled button which I was allowed to push once.

I pushed it during the day yesterday, and nothing seems to have happened - at least, nothing that I have been told about.

I can now push no other buttons than the intercom.

That's the problem. Nobody died, so it could have been a block all kills button, or cancel certain actions button, or do literally nothing button.

Good point.

Other that Survive, I have not a clue what to do, other than pressing buttons.

I will confirm neither. I can confirm Cras is #3, which leaves us with three options.

1) Cras is Mafia
2) Grim... finds out everyone is Mafia and Cras is unlucky
3) A third party somehow influenced matters

Curio - if you missed my question above - can you confirm that your list is not alphabetical or the same as the first post (if you do not want to answer this then say you dont want to answer :-)

Okay - thanks for answering - I will say that I have the same buttons as everyone else and pressed one yesterday , and was told today that I can communicate with person X outside of the game

I've sent person X messages and they are either ignoring me or not reading the forum :-)

I dont know if this was a one off for that button , if the number I pressed corresponds to that person (therefore if i press a different button tonight I could talk to someone else) or what.

I was also told that I was 'protected' , which means if there is a protector out there they pressed my button (as it were) - It could also mean that those who could kill chose me as a button (if a number of things happened to me that would also sorta tie in with the list being alphabetical as that would mean I'm button 16)

Pressing buttons is also information, albeit easier to lie about. Which is why I'm surprised more people haven't done it. We'll catch the liars out eventually (assuming they aren't in a coma, or something).

Certainly, although I'm not (but, of course, I would say that etc. etc.).

It would be a risky one to set off with (but, of course, etc. etc.).

ok, now Curio has claimed to have a list I am happier coming forward with what I did yesterday. After the end of the day I decided to press a button, suddenly a panel on the wall slid down revealing a screen, the screen had the word ROLEBLOCKER on it.

So I am left wondering if I am in the position of investigator or if I am a roleblocker. This I will confirm tonight by pressing a different button.

Am happy to be guided by Curio as to which number to press.

As to which number I pressed yesterday I can't think of a reason not to tell, but would like to hear what the hive mind thinks. If the Mafia have a list of players then I could be giving a power role away for killing over night, what do you all think?

The reason I changed my mind on pressing a button after the day was out was simply the fact other had pressed buttons so the more we pressed the more information we could gather, also boredom played a large part, the room is very boring

Also the fact I got the above information is partially what made me think that Grim... was either a investigator or mafia, as I read my information as either/or, but as I did say in my post it was assuming that the number system did work out that Cras was 3, which Curio has confirmed (if we can trust him :))

Why did people not let the group know yesterday that they only had one button? That is Nick and Mr Russ, who have both pressed there buttons, was yours a one off use also Nick?

Hmmm, it's looking more likely your role is being revealed.

[vote: unvote] for the time being and sudden change of heart. I'm think Grim... should probably get lynched to test that theory out.

The numbers/list theory seems suddenly the more ridiculous of the two. If you hear hooves think horses not zebras said some guy off scrubs.

Interesting stuff, SG.

This does cast some doubt as to whether Grim... revealed Cras as Mafia, or himself as Mafia. All depends on how much the Mafia know, or if everyone just got told to survive.

I hope there is a Mafia, and this isn't just Trooper being lame.

If you revealed someone else as Roleblocker then do we have two investigation roles? Or is one a fake investigate? And is the RB a good guy or a bad guy.

I'm half tempted to avoid a lynch entirely at the moment, to gather further intel. Any more people with info? Who hasn't posted much/at all?

Nope. I don't have a lot to respond with, to be honest. I have the same win condition as the rest of you, and am not a Mafia, but Curio's list combined with Grim...'s reveal points to me as a bad guy. My only thinking is that either Grim... is lying (unusual on day 1, given that he wouldn't seem to have any idea who he'd be targetting) or Curio is lying and number 3 isn't me at all.

Or that they're both lying. Curio either has a list and shared it with Grim... or has made up a list, and Grim... as a result just picked someone who wasn't on 'his team' and said that person's a mafia.

I'm sure Grim... can provide you with a list of how many posts and how many characters everyones posted so far - I'm leaning more twards a vote today because i think it was luck yesterday that caused no deaths and a vote / eviction / whatever would give us information about at least one person (If Craster is voted out and revealed to be Mafia it answers a few things - if he's voted out and proved 'town' then it doesnt answer much but says that Grim...'s screen and/or your list is not to be totally trusted).

I am going to work on the assumption that Curio is on the level about the list for now, so will press whichever button he want tonight. If I do have a investigation role then all good, if my screen stays on ROLEBLOCKER then odds on I am a Roleblocker not a investigater... which would be interesting with regards to Grim...

So what number would you like me to go for?

Also people haven't given a opinion with regards to if I should reveal the number I pressed last night.

I pressed button 11 and wasn't told anything about what it did or didn't do.

I think we need to consider a few things.
1) is there a bad guy, or will we be voting to harm someone in the group with no real provocation?
2) is grim an investigator and if so is his information good?(surely in a place with such minimal info to start, a hopeless investigator role would be a bit cruel?)
3) what exactly is curio meant to be if he has a list but no buttons? (I am suspicious of the fact that he said he had NO buttons, since surely he woke up and told he had ONE button, marked intercom? However I assume we can prove it by lynching and seeing if the names do indeed tie up with the numbers the way he suggested. Although he might be lying and just numbering the names alphabetically.

I don't know what to do.

I dunno.

Try #5. No particular reason.

Whixhever you are, you'd be my top target if I were an evil person. Best hope the numbery code is not trivial to crack (or sufficiently simple as to get some overnight help)

Oh well, eh?
