I was considering retiring for the evening but decided to read one last chapter of my book. There was a knock at the door. "Who could it be at such a late hour?" I thought to myself. I stager about a bit in the doorway, very concious that i probably look like an understudy getting his chance to shine in an amateur production of a play, and fall over. I prepare to succumb to my wounds, but, in what was an eyeblink to me, but several hours in the real world I come to. There was a second man who made me somewhat better. Like I said, quite a trying night. I daresay they will come back for me tonight, though, to finish the job.

Voting to lynch me would be terrible for the town. I was a happy townie, and now I am viably challenged. After some people decided to shoot me last night, nw they want to orchestrate a hanging to prove what I am saying is true. So you're saying that someone revived you and you can now see the Dead Thread? Except you weren't generous enough to venture that information right away, only when you started to pick up votes. If somebody revived you, it must be for a purpose - and I doubt it's one that will benefit the town. I think you've got to go.

My win condition is still town. I was going to keep it quiet, as it basically paints a big target over my head. But now there's a run on me, it's best to speak up. I know that the cop investigated someone before they were killed and that their win conditino was "Town" only she isn't telling me who at present. I also know trooper's secret lover, as he told me.

I don't care what your win condition is. I care what the win condition is of the person who revived you. Do you know who that is? It would seem odd that you were revived, given access to the Dead Thread, but not told who revived you.

I didn't say anywhere that I believed you. If someone (and you referred to them as a necromancer) is capable of raising killed players from the dead then I honestly can't see that as a good thing. Since we have no clue who this necromancer is, it's fairly logical (I think, anyway) to get rid of you to prevent this potential undead army from growing.

I am uncomfortable with this story from you MaliA. I took your first post about this and the writing style to just be you in storytelling mode, filling in the blanks and speaking in more flowery ways than normal to explain a basic game mechanic; ie being visited by the doctor and hence protected.
However it then appears that someone has questioned this language and you have decided to go of in the other direction and claim necromancy, which I struggle to believe. Especially since your 'evidence' is saying both trooper and TFF have spoken to you but haven't told you anything!

No, I'm not Mafia. And I think there's something you're not telling us.
It all comes down to my point - if you're telling the truth and have been raised from the dead by some necromancer or other - whether we can rest comfortably with a potentially dangerous faction wandering around. You're telling us that your win condition is town and I don't believe that. It just doesn't make any sense to me that you've apparently been raised from the dead and still keep your old win condition. You've got to owe something to somebody, and I can't see it being good for the town.
In the absence of any evidence as to who this necromance is, I think it's in the town's best interest to get rid of you to keep ourselves safe. If you genuinely think that series of logical deductions means I'm mafia then you're even more dodgy than I previously thought, and I have absolutely no qualms about continuing to vote for you.

Ok, the main basis for my MaliA vote was that he was claiming to speak to people but not giving any info. I wrote my post on the drive home from work in between chatting so despite starting at 7pm I didn't actuall finish and post it til later. As such, I missed him saying sg was the lover. You do appear to have outed SG to save your own skin, at this point. Which, given that the one thing we don't have any confirmation of is that your win condition is still town, is more than a little concerning.

Cold math and self interest presented the situation that better sg dead and me alive rather than the other way around. I thought about it for a bit but could see no better way out if it. SG needed verifiable proof and there we go. Pip pip scrivens the taxi of destiny awaits the fare of fate.

My first thought was that I didn't believe Mali because he's been throwing accusations around all week. But if SG is saying that he has correct information... Would they affiliate themselves with each other if they were something bad? Hmm.

Still don't trust MaliA. SG could also be a bad guy with MaliA. And MaliA was acting like a cheerleader on day one, now claims he sees dead people. There's something about children who see dead people I don't like.
My vote stands.

3 options:

1) SG is the necromancer, and not the other lover at all. I'd have expected to see a counterclaim from the real lover though.
2) Mali has a new win condition, SG does not know this. SG has validated that he's telling the truth about being able to talk to the dead, but not that he's still a good guy
3) Mali is completely telling the truth.

SG asked for proof, and that was the only proof I had. I figure, no offence SG, that being able to talk in the dead thread and here was of more use than a townie with no role now. My win condition has stayed the same, Town. If you do carry on with this absurd idea that lynching me is a good idea, then you'll be down a townie with a useful skill. And SG.

I'm inclined to leave him be, at least for one more night, if he can pass on information from the Dead Thread. I'm strangely assuaged by his evidence after he was called out to provide some to verify his claims.

I feel stupid for asking for proof now, but honestly thought that Malia was bullshitting, so bugger me when he came back and revealed me...doh!

I know we don't know if his win condition has changed, but tbh I doubt it has, if it had it really would have been dumb to role claim what he has, the information he can get from the dead thread may be useful for the town.

As for who we should vote off I am not sure, quite alot of people are looking dodgy to me at the moment, but that may just be grief from having my beautiful Trooper taken from me talking. Yes I know Trooper was flawed and a little egotistical, and he had very poor hygiene but he was mine! *sobs*

I will wait until later in the day and decide then, probably to go with the majority.

I don't see why MaliA saying SG was townie really paints a target over SG, the bad guys know who is bad already.
I do find it doubtful that MaliA's win condition hasn't changed, but it is possible it change to town. - It is also possible that our god and master made up some new shit on the fly because the best roles were getting killed off.

I am still completely suss of SDG, but I can see the arguments for lynching MaliA. One obvious question is, can we actually lynch a dead person?

Another is, given the smell was about before Mali's resurrection, does that mean there is more than one zombie wandering around the place?
