Okay, work with me on my theory here.

You're a townie. You can read the dead thread, because you're a zombie, created by a Necromancer.

So what's the Necromancer's allegiance? Do you think he's on the same side as the town? If not, how do you think he wins?

And if he wins, in part, because you're alive, shouldn't you really be thinking about topping yourself right now for the good of the team?

I don't know the necromancer's allegiance.

I'm running with the idea that to create a zombie, he must target someone who is killed on that night, otherwise there would be a second zombie (Smell first mentioned on day three). As a result, his win condition is fairly unlikely, and my continued undeadness is of more use right now.

But what do you think?


Me too. Seems tricky, though. Or maybe he just got unlucky on day 1 and targeted someone that couldn't be a zombie, and tomorrow they'll be two of you.

Even if the necromancer is evil, his win condition is unlikely, so I'm not sure how offing me is of any use to anyone, except evil people.

Why would it be of use to evil people? All you've done so far is hand them a townie to go after, and be a "not in their team" target for the day. So I'd imagine evil people are quite happy to have you alive.

I'm really unsure about what to do. Sg, did you post anything to hint at your role as secret lover, to attract trooper? I'm assuming you had to search for him each night, did you ever suspect trooper?

From the role description, I think it's pretty clear that they were told who each other was, they just weren't allowed to communicate.

There is one other potential point in keeping Maila alive, If there is a necromancer gahering an army of evil dead to do his bidding, they are a threat to the mafia, so the mafia have to kill malia overnight to minimise the threat to the mafia.

But why would a zombie be able to speak to the dead?

Imagine there is a necromancer, and they are successful in raising several zombies, that's a lot of people able to talk to the dead, and presumably each other in the dead thread. - Neverminding that necromancy is technically communicating with the dead (or using their bodies to divine information) and not raising them back to life.

It just seems unlikely to me, it seems more likely to me that there would be one person who can speak to the dead, rather than one person who can make lots of people speak to the dead, and also this person who can raise the dead, can't actually speak to the dead himself?

I just don't see it, either Mali is making this all up, or he has had the ability to talk to the dead from the start.

The other co-incidence is that the way he's discribing how he was turned is that he was killed by one person, and then "saved" by another. That's quite a coincidence!

It's all just too far fetched in my opininon (which may of course be wrong)

Well, for a start, you ain't going to get the numbers today to lynch him; there's too much doubt in people's minds for today. It might not seem Black and white but I reckon Bobby is better.

I knew that Trooper was my secret lover at the start of the game, we can't communicate other than in the normal game thread. If you read the role description it explains it all.

I am willing to vote for bobby (or anyone else if given good reasons) please state you reasons for bobby, I am not going to vote just because you point at him and say 'he's a bad un!!'

Also no I have re-read mine and Troopers posts and neither of us gave away who the other was, so either Malia can see the dead thread or he made a bloody good guess at me.

I accept it's probably a bad idea but i'd be inclined to keep MaliA alive/dead just for the hell of it, as the whole zomb thing is intriguing.
