It's kind of odd, isn't it? We did have an assassin, rather than an SK, in one game, which caused a bit of confusion due to the lack of gory kills.

One other thought that just struck me - we could well have a vigilante. A vig in a blind game where we've gone and lost the cop is something of a loose cannon.

I think Alarm just made a slip of the tongue, but then I also thought that KovacsC wouldn't be so obvious either! :D

Would a loose cannon rock the boat?

True, but the cop can only tell if the person investigated is town or not-town

But it is a pain to have lost her first night, could there be another cop or investigator?

I think it is probably, at this point, better to play with the cards we have got, rather than speculate over what we might or might have in the future. And we don't have a lot to go on, so I think we should look at that, rather than what might be during the night.

I think that, yes, the evil types will be amongst those who voted to Kovacs C yesterday. They were proabbly happy that they were going to off a townie, so we should focus on them. If there are only four vanilla townies abotu tehn everyone can do anything, and all have roles, so we were lucky to not lose more, I suppose.

Hang on Mali, so your saying that we shouldn't vote for Alarm, even after a 'slip of the tongue' which is a big FoS because he didn't vote for the Cult recruiter yesterday? Yes it was a punt at KovacsC yesterday but why would the mafia put all there eggs in one basket? All we have to go on is one days voting, so no pattern yet and what people have said, Alarm may have had a slip of the tongue but it is a very poor choice of words if that is the case.

We should totally vote for alarm. And put effotrt into uncovering the killers, but not worry to much about the other n-4 power roles.

Weirdly, the counter orders votes by the time the person voted in the thread regardless of who they voted for, not the order the person voted for that specific person. Has it always done it that way?

Alarms comment seems too much like something to show off about later. Well done for spotting it Nick. He might very well be nothing to do with the mafia but if he is, and we didn't act on what seems like an obvious hint, then we'd be kicking ourselves later!

I am thinking along the same lines as sdg to be honest.

Er, I can't find square brackets on this keyboard, so will have to vote when I get home.

Gilly's reason for voting is a bit ... ? Not sure, As many people say it does seem like a normal thing to say. Not saying it isn't a tell, but? I don't know. We have a while left until the end of the day, so I am going to wait for a wile before voting.

The Town makes a decision.

Alarm must go.

And so to the gallows.

"This is a mistake! It was a figure of speech!" cries the condemned man.

It helps him not. The noose is sharpened, placed around his neck, and off he trots to the afterlife.

A quick check of his possessions shows a meticulous ledger full of ill-gotten gains, and a pizza.

Bloody hell! Alarm actually was the Mafia Don!

Night actions by midday Friday, but preferably today.
