Another morning dawns, and someone's looking a little worse for wear. Seems someone's been telling tales about Grim... being out partying all night, and as a result he's gone on the naughty list! Poor Grim...! No presents for him this year. It's a shame, because Grim... was a good little boy.

Santa's having a bit of a hard time telling the good kids from the bad kids by just watching them standing around chatting all day, you know. It's probably time to see if a little more interaction will do the trick - so let's play some party games!

Today's game is pass the parcel. Someone will be randomly chosen to start with the parcel, and they need to pass it on to other people like this [pass:person]. Keep passing the parcel around, and the music will stop at three predetermined times during the day. Whoever's holding the parcel at each of those points will win a bonus ability or single-use night action. Don't hog the parcel though, we want to keep it moving, so if the parcel's sitting with one person for more than an hour or so, I'll move it on.

Otherwise, the day proceeds as normal and will end on Monday at 3pm.

[playerlist]
TheFireFaerie
Slightly Green
Goddess Jasmine
Malc74
Trooper
Curiosity
MaliA
KovacsC
Saturnalian
Alarm
sdg
Malc
kalmar
zaphod79
nickachu
Squirt
[/playerlist]

With 16 players left, 9 are needed to put someone on the naughty list, and 9 novotes needed to end the day without putting anyone on the list.

Oh no, we've lost another good boy. Hopefully santa or the super investigators found out something useful. But this pass the parcel does sound fun :D

If the Super Investigators found something out then Grim... would not have been put on the list (their ability is a block and investigate)

Indeed, it seems that they have been unsuccessful both nights as far as I can tell?

Poor Grim... Although clever goblins, they may be more intelligent than we gave them credit for, taking out the person who stated they weren't voting and also who wasn't voted for, it gives us nothing to go on again!

Oh, my.

Well, this is a right royal mess.

I still think Trooper is good, and I have suspicions over sdg, zaphod and a malc. I will have a little think then vote, I suppose.

Oh no!! Two good little boys gone!! *starts sobbing* this is so horrible... Those nasty Goblins! Today we will find one of them, oh yes we will!

On a happier note, I do love party games! *puts on a blue velvet party dress to twirl and swirl about in*

I'm going to go back and look at all the chit chat and voting from yesterday, hopefully we can find something to get one of those nasty, nasty Goblins, or even better the evil Grinch himself!

*skips back into yesterday*

Well... there were all these bright lights (they must have been the Christmas lights missing from today, they've been spun into outer space by the sadness of the loss of good little boys) and it was try fast and then... Kerplunk! There I was back in day one, looking about at everyone and listening to what they were saying, but they couldn't see me (I tried to poke Curio in the arm, but he didn't notice).

And as I listened I realised, there really might be some patterns and connections emerging! Perhaps Santa isn't our only hope... As long as we can all listen, maybe we will hear the truth...

Why would Gilly and I essentially say the same thing if we were on the same team?

I think you're trying to divert attention on to others.

so

I'm good. I know I'm good. Gilly said that I said the same thing as SG and that made me bad. So your logic is the same as Gilly's.

So therefore on YOUR reasoning.

I do, but I think it's a little soon. I'd like to see what other people discuss today, may well help make my mind up about whether what I've potentially deduced makes sense or not!

I'm listening, if you care to divulge at any time.

Though obviously don't do so if it gives away Santa.

Actually, having had a further think about it I'm going to change my vote.

[vote:Curiosity]

He wanted to vote for TheFireFaerie on day one, and on day two, as well, then voted for Bobbyaro at a critical moment, exhorting others to finish him off. Only, on day two he didn't vote for TFF, he misspelt her name, and then drew attention to those that haven't voted. The cunning little goblin I think ThFireFaerie is good, and we now know Bobbyaro was good, so I conclude that Curio is a baddie and the other baddies are thos that had voted up to that point, yesterday.

Stupid formatting:

I think Curio is bad, TFF is good, Trooper is good, sdg is either way, as is Zaphod and a Malc.

Well, that does it for me, time to speak up, as that is pretty much exactly the theory that I have come up with!

[vote:Curiosity]

And if that turns out to be right, then there is a definite "you too" on my list - I think Curio has a clear partner in crime! But that I will hold onto for a little longer...

*twirls in her blue party dress, hoping that she gets a little hold of the Christmas parcel to raise her Christmassy spirits*

Mainly that their theories are rubbish.

MaliA picks me because I voted for Bobby (one of ten people) and because I messed up spelling TFF's name (which I then corrected).

TFF picks me because I voted for her two days in a row.

There's no theory or info there. Just another random pick, and a wrong one.

No, my theory is that you jumped in really quickly to get rid of me, along with someone else, and when no one bit you pushed for us all to go for Bobby instead (having FOSsed the non voters, which also included me at that point). I'm really miffed about voting for Bobby, because I wasn't totally sure but wanted a lynch because I'm always a something-better-than-nothing believer.

Also... looking back through, Trooper also did a get-Bobby, Grim... and Bobby both FOSsed Trooper (oh look, then Grim... is put on the naughty list overnight), they've both turned out to be good, so you and Tooper teaming up against Bobby and Grim... getting taken out after FOSsing Trooper is the only potential FOS I've got to go on.

Might be completely wrong, but it's the closest thing I've got to suss behaviour so far. Plus it ties in with a third person, so I think that you, Trooper and person 3 are the baddies.

So there *sticks tongue out and blows a raspberry before running away from the potentially bad naughty Goblin*

Why would someone jump in to put you on the naughty list? There's no reason for the goblins to target one person over another at the start, since they're as clueless as we are.

Rubbish, you know that everyone apart from those of you who are Goblins / The Grinch are good, so you know you can target everyone else, and you may as well pick one person and go for it because then you're more likely to get your majority vote, rather than all picking on different people to not look suss...
