*yawn*

What a long night that was! Such glorious nights in our Utopia.

And glory be! A dead body!

What's so glorious? KovacsC is dead, and once you've cleaned the red paint off him, you find seditious documents upon his person.

KovacsC was a Red

[playerlist]
Mr Russell
Trooper
DavPaz
Slightly Green
Craster
Goddess Jasmine
[/playerlist]

With a mere six people remaining, 4 votes for a lynch.

Day ends Tuesday at midday.

Er - what? The Reds killed one of their own?

I would suggest that the fact that Kovacs put an early vote in on Russ yesterday puts Russ in the clear.

I guess that's a win for the town! Yay town!

Does that mean the Reds don't know who each other are?

Could well be the same wording in the rules as the Blues:

Quote:
You know your fellow revolutionaries and your leader.

So Kovacs was a red, but if he wasn't a red revolutionary, they wouldn't have known who he was.

That does mean that we don't know anything about Russ, of course (or, indeed, anyone) - because Kovacs wouldn't have actually known anything about anyone else. Killing a red is great, but it doesn't tell us anything about voting patterns.

DOME OVERLORD! Can you confirm that Kovacs wasn't a revolutionary, please? He did have pamphlets...

Seriously, is it possible to be this unaware of the rules?

This is the second time that Craster has made it clear he has a power role, so he is either the cop or a red revolutionary.

There are more reds than cops, so [vote:craster]

Yesterday, you had no idea that a regular blue cannot talk to the cop.
Today you had no idea a regular red cannot talk to the revolutionaries.

The only way you could make those mistakes are if you are not a regular townie.

Or I could just not have noticed that there were 'vanilla' reds and blues. Which is exactly what happened. In almost all games the only vanillas have been townies.

Indeed. However you would have noticed if you were a vanilla red or blue.
Hence you aren't.

If you like? I'm a bog-standard green. I'm confused as to your claim that I've somehow hinted at a power role, when all we've so far managed to work out over the last 10 posts or so is that I'm not a vanilla red or blue.

Well that was a nice result the Reds handed us last night, killed off one of there own supporters

So players we have left -

Mr Russell
Trooper
DavPaz
Slightly Green
Craster
Goddess Jasmine

Roles we have left -

1 Green Mayor
1 Red Leader
0-1 Red Revolutionary (one has already been evicted so did they have 2 at the start?)
1 Blue Deputy
2 - 3 Assorted colour townies
(Think I have those numbers right?)

Townies we have lost so far -

Gilly, Malc, Bobbyaro, MaliA , KovacsC so are we likely to have more Red and Blue Townies kicking around? Or are the rest like me and just plain green?

So best case scenario we just have to get the Red Leader and Town have won? If that is the case then yay! But it is possible that we had 1 Red Leader, 2 Red Revolutionary and 2 Red Townies, I think this would be unlikely as a red team of 5 at the start is very powerful for a small game, if this is the case then we have 3 Red left in our midst? Obviously it could be in the middle of those two extreams also.....any thoughts?

Trooper has claimed the position of Mayor, this is unconfirmed but no one has stepped forward to counter claim, which lends his statment some backing, but for some reason I am struggling to put into words I still find myself very wary of him.

Other than Troopers claim we don't appear to have any evidence to work on at the moment, hopefully the police are close to knowing the full workup of the Reds and can make a statment soon, but they obviously need to be sure before making a move.

Just from re-reading the posts I have a few worries over Craster, but not to the level that Trooper is jumping to, and I yhave the distinct feeling that GJ is on the level and nice and working for us greens. Not sure about the rest of you :DD

Hey! I am erm....on a VR machine and am 100% green.

Want to put a vote in but can't decide who to vote for as a possible bandwaggon could be dangerous since we only need 4 votes for a eviction....

As a vanilla green you would have to be pretty dumb to have missed the vanilla reds and blues that we're in the very same section of rules as yours. Vanillaness would have always been on your mind, being a vanilla. It obviously wasn't, hence the mistakes, hence you are a power role.

With 6 people left, and 4 nights of investigation done by the deputy, and an invulnerable mayor for at least one more night, if the deputy has found any reds, is it worth coming out and declaring?

This will only work if we think we have 2 reds in total left, however if there are 3 left we are pretty much screwed anyway, unless by some miracle they kill a red overnight...

That's tosh, and you know it is. It's easy to read that set of rules and think that the only blues are power roles, and the only reds are power roles, and everyone else is vanilla green - because that's how it's always been!

The only thing you look at in the rules when you get a vanilla green role is what bad guy power roles are out there, and what good guy power roles are out there.

I'm here!
And a little torn to be honest. I feel like every time I think I know something the next day just blows it out of the water.

I was a little suss of Craster a few days ago too, but I do agree with what he says about what you pay attention too as a vanilla (going on my own personal experience).

I don't think I've ever felt so clueless at this stage tbh.

At this point we have one confirmed (pretty much - a counter would have showed up by now) good guy - Trooper. We have no investigative data to go on, but the deputy might have something. We have no voting data to go on, because the only dead red wasn't able to collude with his homies so wouldn't know who he should be voting for.

Mr Russell didn't get the rules for vanilla townies yesterday, hence my voting for him.
It seems he doesn't get them today either.

I've said my piece on why that is likely to be the case, not reading the rules, pah! Axis of evil right there.
