Disagree about the SK, Mali, and here's why.

One Mafioso is worth far, far more than one townie.

If the town were offered to have two of their number removed, but one of the Mafia, they should take it, as (on the whole), that ratio will result in a townie win.

If you distill your argument down, about maybe hitting townies, then you may as well never lynch, because you might hit a townie.

And if you never lynch, you can never win.

If the Town was offered two lynches a round rather than one, would they take it? Yes. So, unless the SK deliberately tries to sabotage the town winning after being discovered, they're more useful alive than dead (to the town).

:this:
The Borg is a bigger threat than the romulans - unless the borg queen is stopped before day 5 or 6, the borg will probably have overwhelming numbers, with a good chance of having a bridge member and a romulan on board - thereby knowing the identities of ALL the power roles in play. The only defence is to have as many kill actions as possible until the queen is dead, and a tame SK is an extra kill per night.
Even without the borg, the SK has as much chance as the town to hit a scum, whereas without him the town get only 1 kill action a day.
In that situation, the romulans best move is to kill the SK, which at least gives the town one extra day.

Also, the SK really has a better chance of hitting a bad guy than the town, since they'll not be influenced directly by the Mafia vote.

All things considered, I was right, and they shouldn't have lynched me. Pathetic humans! Ruled by their beards.

Hmm... saying that tho, I hear there is a casting call back in the early 21st century for something called 'Torchwood'. Perhaps if I have a beard they won't know who I am? Could be fun!

I think the bad guys already have that - and after today the non-bad guys are in the minority.

At least you knew who was on your team :(

Surprised to see Flis go, to be honest. Poor choice there. Trooper or Malc really should have been for it, just because of the wealth of information it'd get when their role was discovered.

I can't really put my finger on why, but Craster, DavPaz and The Vision are making my Spider Sense tingle...

I agree. Slightly less with Davpaz, but TheVision and Craster have both been somewhat sly.

Jesus. I couldn't even get people to vote for me when I told them to! Still, at least the information is out there now. Not sure if the town have enough numbers to vote, and if they will vote for Malc or not.

Flis could have been dodgy, but every other quiet person had been a good guy, so I thought my reasoning for Malc was bloody sound! Especially after his responses to being accused were ludicrous.

Idiots.

There's probably not much town left now. 3 romulans left. probably 4 borg. only what 5 or 6 townies left?

Joans' dismissal of Nickachu's posting is suspicious.

Bad luck, dead guys. It's looking like a quite bad situation for the town, really.

Joans is definitely changing his game today. I'd be putting some pressure on him right about now if I were the town.

Hard to tell with Nervous Pete. He's worth considering, certainly. It'd be a good move to make the most of a known new player if you were on Team Bastard.

Guessing time!

Who are the baddies, and which strain of baddie are they?

I trust any dead baddies in this thread will not use any info gathered here to communicate with their living team-mates.

Its partly I think because people decide that the 'way' something was said was dodgy - look at my death in this one - i had convinced the good team that I was a baddie by talking a lot :-)

I wonder if some type of other incentive is needed to push people to talk but not simply spam the thread with junk.

Well its the ones that talk the most that get investigated the most (and by investigated I mean scrutinised) So the ones in the background just tend to gang up on the talking ones to lead with longer days. I know that we have 3 romulans left and we should have 4 borgs. I think the borgs will have infiltraded the crew and be getting them one at a time, if there are even any borg in the game! So the romulans are still safe, but will die since the hacker can't protect one of their own now that Im dead!
