Agree with everything you have just said, but think this is the problem for us most of the time. It doesn't matter if people can only talk at one point of the day, but they do need to talk.

I hope it's not too wrong of me to say I hope we have a Q about as I think that could be quite fun! :D

This is already the most fun thing I've done all day and nothings happened yet!

That wasn't a role claim by the way... I've just had a pretty rubbish day.

Whatever happens, we must remember to detach the saucer section. Exciting and conclusive things always happen when that's done. Though it does tend to use the budget up for the rest of the season.

I think it is hard at the start of an episode, no one really knows anything yet, and people don't want to stand out too much in case you draw unwanted attention...

So it's all idle speculation, mud slinging and so on for the first couple of days (unless we get lucky) then hopefully some patterns will start to emerge.

I'll stick with Zaphod for now, but am willing to swap to someone else if the situation arises.

Mostly random I guess, you and Russ were on 2 votes, although I think you did say something just before then, I don't think it was anything major (I think it was actually something someone said about you) I'd have to go back and check...

I hope we don't get to use the saucer section as that generally means we are screwed, although, the civilians always end up in the saucer section, so maybe... ? Actually, am I a starfleet civilian or a generic dull brown civilian? Because if I am the latter, you can find my in cargo hold B, probably being slightly beligerent with a group of similarly brownly dressed civilians, only the 7 yr old girl of which can speak, and then only to Picard, altough Riker and Troi will make a sarcastic comment about it.

Please do , and Random is as good a choice as any.

For the other people on here , I cant see any posts from :

Slightly Green
kalmar
Hero of Excellence
Gospvg

Not even a 'hello' , while I agree with GJ's comments about people being limited in when they can post - we are on a time limit and one of the worst things you can do as a townie is not even take part.

Hello all,

Sorry for the tardy reply i was on the holo-deck in a very realistic simulation of a nightmare day for a plumber, most entertaining. So what's going on? Hang on i will have a look back over the ships logs and have a look. In the mean time i think i will wander over to ten forward for a Andorian Ale.

Can't we solve all our differences peacefully, like they do on the show? I mean, c'mon guys. C'mon. C'mon!

...

Oh, well. If we're going to be like that.

I'm going for Zaphod as his avatar shows him clearly as belonging to a different sci-fi intellectual property, and therefore according to the ridiculously needy, conservative, my-show-better-than-yours-nyah mindset of the sci-fi geek-collective a threat! Seems as good a reason as any.

I think they wear big shoulderpads. If they're disguising themselves as humans, then best kill anyone who looks like they're from Dynasty.

I'm going to [vote: Mr Russell] just to even things up for now, tho I have to point a phaser of suspicion at EBG for the old 'let's not vote for anyone' routine...

It is also disturbingly quiet seeing as we have just had the main duty period. I have doubts of getting 11 votes cast before the next stardate...

We're further down the line than usual in Day one.

I've read logs of other infiltrated starships where it took days to reach a airlocking.

Let's not forget when the Romulans themselves were infiltrated by the Founders. Much of the Tal Shiar fleet was lost that day, severely weakening the Romulan's military power. Perhaps they've learned a few lessons on concealment.

I am suspicious. Reading the initial status report, why are we to believe there are Romulans at all? Anyone could have beamed on board.

Because reading the other information tells us that there is at *least* two Romulan's and I would think probably Q and a Borg (although its possible they are not here I would bet that they both are)

How long does this episode last. I'd be tempted to switch my vote to zaphod to get something rolling, but so far no-one really sticks out as being Borg romulan or q to me.

Oh and with the change yesterday (see other thread) we're up to *12* votes for an airlock ejection today - which is going to be very difficult to get to.

Just because I might be in the holodeck all day I'll [vote:zaphod79], nothing against you, just it's probably better to do something rather than let the borg, the romulans and q run rampant amoungst us while we are sleeping in our quarters.

Considering our first Lynch is going to be a shot in the dark, I would far rather go for someone who isn't contributing (such as Kalmar) than someone who is (such as Zaphod).

I am going to be popping out in shuttle to look at a interesting white dwarf, so i will be out of communication for a few hours, would it be possible to book one of the holo-decks for later or will they all be busy again?

I feel guilty about starting the ball rollling for Zaphod. I think we should vote for gospvg instead. :p :) Seriously, if people want to vote for someone quiet, I am fine with that, but who?

That makes no sense at all.
1) Whya re you waiting until the end of the day to vote, when we have said that we want to get people talking and voting?
2) You have fos between 2 people who have not really said anything to arouse suspicion, but then say it is because it because it is day 1. Surely everyone should be on your fos list if that is the case?

FOS davpaz.

FOS davpaz.

I'm waiting because as you say "everyone should be on your fos list" and I can't decide. I fully intend to chatter along as much as possible today to keep the thread alive.

Those 2 people were picked because they were the first ones that my eyes saw in the list. So, let's get chatting.

Something that's always bothered me about the star ship enterprise. There's a lot of people on board isn't there? Something like over 1000? Do they all work for the federation or are some treating it like a cruise ship?
