I had an excellent role to play, and the animosity that would have sprang forth from disagreeing with my sister would have been excellent.

These games work really well when there's a roleplaying element enforced.

We should do a proper werewolves/vampire one as well at some point in the fuuuuuture.

Oh, and slightly green didn't even pick up his message with the mafiascum role in it to start with. Has anyone seen him around, I assume he is ok and not lying in a ditch somewhere!
His role was quite good too, he had such a short attention span, that everytime he posted, he had to vote for the person who posted just before him...

It was 24 hours, which is fine. Some previous 'days' have lasted for three days though.

FWIW I prefer a faster game. Leads to less downtime, but days 5/6 ish are always mega fast anyway as the win closes in

It is extremely impressive how the first 5 kills have been townies though! I think that has pretty much screwed the town unless they get lucky today and tonight.

I'd be interested in the actual roles at the end of this , and i think some of the weird stuff put in would have been better discussed rather than just being out there (although I know that could have stopped it working)

I was thinking your sister was going to be the SK , and i wonder if by killing one of you the other has 'become' an SK but with the low number of people left around the town isnt going to get very far.

BTW other suggestion for future games (unless this is a bluff) - the night should finish when the night is due to finish - I cant see why it would be extended because people have not got their action in - the days dont get extended just because someone dint get the chance to vote.

Agreed. Typically the day phase favours the town and the night phase favours the bad guys. Allowing the night to go on but not allowing the day to is a bit unfair.

Admittedly if the day had been extended they would probably have hung Gos, but still.

I wonder why the bad guys keep going for people who are already being heavily voted for?

Good point, but I was pushing for a quick set of night actions, but aware that people might not be able to hit that time due to coming home from work. They were super short nights, they will be proper length from now on.

I was away at the start of the week so could only post once on day one and then I was working today so posted on my lunchbreak. By the time I checked back in on my afternoon break the day was over. Nick also seems a bit off. If still alive today I would have pushed for Bobby.

I think the really long day here is going to cause basically nothing to happen , Trooper if things go 'as badly as possible' for the town - could they lose tonight (so another 3 townie deaths) , it would be interesting to get to that point with the town never really being close to a lynch

Also, it doesn't help that luck has it that only townies have died, as you can't look back at what they have said and work anything out from it. The town are basically in pretty much the same position they were in on day 1.

I think varying the days length as much is a problem - also varying the 'end' of day - sometimes it works - sometimes it doesnt - it just seems in this one it has not - however Mr Dave is correct the issue is the town thinking 'oh we cant kill someone' , and no bugger talking.

Very long days tend to have nothing happening until the very end - although those are pretty much avoidable at a weekend , very short days cause problems because people dont know they are there - the 2nd day on here started at 19:31 one day and finished at 14:00 the next - i think at least for the first ones it would be better to either have a set length or make them last 'a day' at the least.

Given everything else i'm surprised the looney hasn't got their win condition yet - however I think there will be another no kill today , the lack of 'action' on this all just doesn't work.

I know that Trooper will have had a few other 'odd' restrictions or things on people and wonder if they have limited things down or if its really just the day length and general business of people that's causing problems

The only really restrictive addition was to Gilly, who had to say everything in no less than 100 words. All other quirks shouldn't be limiting anything.

I think it mainly that there still isn't really anything to go on, the bad luck of have 5 townies killed in a row has really quietened everything down. There isn't anything to analyse yet!
