It seems a lot more obvious to me that he's actually right and you're a carny. But I think that just means we should leave you to the mafia, as there's a fair chance you're the leader, and we need to hit the mafia while we still can.

Feel like voting for Alarm then in that case?

Er, yes. That's why I did. Because I think he's mafia, and therefore we need to go for him. As I explained pretty clearly at the time.

Oh wait, no I didn't. But well, it's pretty implicit, surely, after a whole post about how we should be going after the mafia. Plus I brought up several doubts I had about his posts yesterday... er, yesterday.

Lace, if you think Zaphod is the mafia roleblocker, why do you want us to lynch Alarm? Do you know something, or are you just hoping to recruit your own roleblocker later?

The killer is the most important role as stated previously.

If that was a plan, and it should be in a carney role, you'd stfu about who was the roleblock otherwise you risk highlighting them for a lynch.

Not what you were getting at but its an interesting analysis if I do say so myself. I'm less inclined to be sure zaphod is a roleblock as a result.

So although you're pretty sure Zaphod is mafia, you're willing to bet that Alarm is a more threatening mafia?

Why bring up Zaphod at all then? He must have suspected he was a mafia roleblocker.

im 100% zaphod is a roleblocker, quite sure he isnt a friendly one, but not totally, and like i say for the 3rd time, the most dangerous person in the game is the hitman

I think we're in agreement, but it's one thing to say "we need to lynch the mafia hitman", and another to actually pin that role on somebody and lynch them. I must admit, Alarm is on my suspect list (just because there aren't that many people left that can't be on it), but I did think he was more Carney than mafia, and I'm assuming that's not the case. Of course, I also had Malc on my suspect list, so I'm the last person people should look to for an answer.

Incidentally, we never did get any useful info out or ApplePie's radio message, did we? There must be some point to it?

Establish who the roleblock is, pick a different person to finger for it to ensure the roleblock gets to nightfall so that you can recruit them. It could also be that LS is himself doing his masters bidding to draw another name into the fray to ensure the roleblock stays alive through the day.

It's a risk from our position. During today the carnies are in a no lose position (things can't get much than first post) and so will aim for misinformation in droves. Going back to your original vote, it's almost a temptation for a quick vote to stop the misinformation spreading.

I want to hear what mr Russ has to say.

Unfortunately, my accountant wants to discuss the huge quantities of alcohol that I've purchased over this last week, so I won't be around much until the end of the day.
I'll try to sneak out and see what's happening if I get the chance, but I think I'm willing to leave it with a [vote:Alarm] for now.

What wonderful gibberish.

I guess since Lace has outed me I may as well come clean and say my role is a teenage prankster , and that I can glue up peoples locks - however I'm *not* mafia - I'm a townie (BTW Joans I'm a slightly older teen so don't worry about your license however I was surprised to be served without you checking my age :-)

His post that I'm not friendly is a very odd one for the king of the carnies to be making (err your the leader of one of the bad guy teams? would you like to talk about how now 'friendly' that is , and I would count that as the most dangerous character in the game in front of the mafia hitman?)

That seems a strange time to make a claim whether you're telling the truth or not. I'm not convinced killing the lead carney stops their ability to recruit or not, but leaving lace alive does give the mafia an obvious target for tonight.

Have we hit any Mafia yet?

I take it there is at least 3, and they are picking off us townies each night.

In that case, as people think Alarm is mafia, then [vote: Alarm]

Wow, sorry I haven't been around sooner! The shock of what happened last night put me all in a tizzy...
.
.
.

Screw it, I can't keep up this charade any longer

<removes beehive wig>
<pulls off horn rimmed classes>

Lieutenant Frank Malone, Town PD here. I've been undercover the whole time, watching you guys, I know there are bad elements in the town and it's my job to route them out!
<pops a pill>
Now, i'm good at my job, very good, I used to be the best, until that one case...
<pops a pill>
It wasn't my fault, it really looked like that 9yr old girl was a mafia boss
<pops another pill>
Whoooo! These are good!
Anyway... Yeah, all evidence pointed towards Emily Dickens from class 4c as a criminal mastermind and international crime lord, I'm sure I was right, I know I was right...

Now, I have information for you all

Night 1, I tried to investigate Goddess Jasmine, but was trapped in my house. However I did get a vision of her sleeping soundly that night
Night 2, I investigated Alarm, he looks like a mafia to me.
Night 3, I tried to investigate Bobbyaro, but was locked in again
Night 4, I investigated Bobbyaro, he looked like mafia to me!
Night 5, I investigated ApplePieOfDestiny, he looked liked mafia too!

I think you're all in on it! You're all mafia! You're all out to get me!
.
.
.
Ooooh look, a fairy!

Also Apple pie. Take your pick.

So, lets get this right.

We have a detective who has only ever seen Townies, or recruited townies
We have a detective who has only ever seen Mafia, including one guaranteed error (Bobby) and one that you'll-have-to-take-my-word-for-it error (Me)

I hope this doesn't mean we have to question Joans' detective skills, but so far, he's been right.

Erm. You pointed out the mafia in your exlaination of night actions, then comp,etely changed in your list of assumed roles, that's why I think you are bullshit, and worth ignoring, I'm in the firing line since the first post this morning, so I'm not upset with being called a bad guy just that you have just randomised your so called investigations from your earlier post for no reason i can fathom....

This is interesting,

Looks like LS could be Carny with the Mafia voting for him.Alarm is Mafia with the townies/carny voting for him.

Is this a stalemate?

Are we to take the 4 not voting for Alarm to be Mafia? (not counting MR R as he is not here yet)

The problem here is we have two large factions, they've split us in half (the worst of the fractions).

If we believe that currently the mafia can do most harm, I'll go with my other vote from yesterday and [vote:alarm].

I think LS is carney, perhaps Gilly too. Joins has confused me, I know not what to do.
