Ah well. I guess it's kind of helpful. Hopefully the doctor roleblocked the mafia and can somehow persuade the townies.

Bugger :-)

I didnt (conciously) do anything different yesterday , my real problem was going to be lack of time during the days - Runcle what made you decide to go for me ?

Just seems to be habit that the players that often say they don't have much time to post usually have a role of some kind.Even though its probably true you were busy, I didn't really have any strong judgements on anyone else being the first day. I was tempted to go with Bobbyaro though with his excessive townie Shtick .

He was my kill last night - so you saved him from a fate worse than death :-)

(oh and death as well of course)

I think it was the timeout that saved me.

I was being genuine when I pleaded for people not to kill me as life is so unbearably shit at the moment that this was on of the things keeping me distracted.

Expect me to be more active in this and other threads throughout the week.

And :belm: on those that think I would ever drop any kind of hint.

I didnt think you were dropping a hint , however at the time you were the only person who seemed to be able to get a vote against.

Seems Mr Mysterious Stranger has found their target :-)

Welcome Ex-Don , you were going to have an interesting 3rd day if i'd have still been around (cant remember who my 2nd target was but the description had hello kitty references in it)

*edit* , I dont think i'd mentioned apart to Mr Paz , but since i really didnt have time i was re-using old death descriptions - I had picked out ones from old games and the 2nd one was something that had tried to frame you so you would have got some attention.

Mr Dave seems to be playing the exact same tactic as last time, but something seems off. Dodgy.

Well I've got nothing. And to be brutally honest I've not re-read anyone's posts. Going by what I can remember though I'd put Dave as the mysterious stranger who's now the Don.

That's retroactively applying theory to my hunch though.

Don't be telling them night actions came in Dav, that's a tactic taken away from them now.

To a certain extent , however given the day started so soon people could really have worked that out.

Yes but you need to leave the element of doubt. That way a mafia can cast aspersions on an absent player by suggesting timeouts.

I ended the day with "Day starts as soon as I get the night actions"

That horse has bolted. I need to mix things up.

If they are as quick at getting back - set a short lead time (day will start at 16:00 , or 12:00 etc)

Having a day 'start' pretty much straight away (especially with no kill) means people will still be following what they did before - the 'deadline' part of the day is often a big driver to get someone to actually do something.

I wasn't getting at you with my comment by the way. It's just that any information given can be used against you.
Gospvg sent me a message on (public) Twitter referring to being a fellow townie, which I ignored as it's extra info that can be used in-game, regardless of truth or not.

Even just commenting about how excited you are by the current game can be used to gauge WHY eg because you can't wait to see the outcome of your night role etc.

Looks like you got your wish for excitement.

The 'meta' data about who was around and therefore was either the Don or the Doc is not a good situation - Grim... pushing for when that person said something slightly out of place reminds me of his Vader going after Luke (Flis) in the star wars game.

He's really good at spotting that mistake and making a big song and dance about it but I think that therefore makes him probably a baddie. (and right now I think Curio is the Doc and thats the towns last power role gone)

Trooper for a bad un then , thats a perfect flawed logic explanation , if he's a mafia person and wasnt the killer then him being visited doesnt do anything and yet he's using that as an example of his innocence.

Well if Curio is the Doc , then Joans for the other.

(of course if Curio is Mafia then this is all wronger than a wrong thing)

Well, that went badly!

My pick for the (up to) three remaining bad guys:
LaceSensor
Trooper I'm a fucking idiot
Gosvpg
Flis
Sinister

Yes, I know.

I don't think Trooper is a baddie, actually.
I'm a fucking idiot.

If I'd have blocked "the other one", would I have survived?

Ooh, good work Troop.
Sinister being the only one voting for Joans looks properly scummy, LaceSensor's been silent, then VOTE, then silent, and said some rather strange things.
If there is a third Mafioso (which would be a little harsh), then my pennies are on Gosvpg for stupid questions. And the twitter thing.

Man, I am (as I'm sure you are) looking forward to just being vanilla. I've had a power role for the last six games, I think - and been a baddie for four of them!

Did you guess at Trooper, or what?

The second I hear "I'm going to wait for other people's opinions" in the next game I'm going to vote for that person until they are dead. I don't even care if I investigated them and found them to be innocent.

However , when you have people up against the block the town should not rush to a kill , they will lose the chance of someone else making a mistake , those '5 post days' dont help unless they are the final day because you let the baddies get their action in and you gain no benefits from it.
