Hm. Why is Curio's being the 9th vote suspicious, but your being the 8th vote not?

And why are you suspicious of Grim...? He got the ball rolling on Davpaz. Turning on one of their own might make sense if the lynch was coming anyway, but starting one is pretty extreme.

And did the same with Malc on day 1. It's only a suspicion. My main vote is for Curiosity at this point.

The rules say
" If the Jailor is killed, all jailed players are released and go back to their original ruleset "

So if the two in jail are evil let's leave them there

Was anyone touched up by Superman last night, or did he arrest GazChap?

Can he arrest?

Superman(1)

Man of steel, Chief boy scout, moralistic uber-nerd! As protector of the planet you want nothing more than to see all bad guys put away, nothing more that is, than seeing Lex Luthor behind bars!
Mild mannered reporter, if you are investigated you will look like an innocent bystander, but you do have some vulnerabilities…
Green kryptonite will kill you.
Red kryptonite will change your class to human, however to all outward appearances you will still look super, darling! On the plus side, you won't be affected by kryptonite anymore...
Black kryptonite will turn you into Evil Superman!
Good job nobody has any kryptonite, huh?

Class : Super

Primary win condition : Bad guys all in jail
Secondary win condition : Lex Luthor in jail

Super Actions
Arrest : will put somebody in custody of the jailor, the person knows they were arrested, the town knows they were arrested.
Protect : protect someone from harm, the person knows they were protected by Superman, but they do not know Superman’s identity.

Human actions
Arrest : will put a human in custody of the jailor, will die if tries to arrest super opponent, the person knows they were arrested, the town knows they were arrested.
Protect : protect someone from harm, will die if protecting against super opponent but protected will escape. The person knows they were protected by Superman, but they do not know Superman’s identity.

Comms:
Talks to no-one

For the record, I didn't get sweeped up by Superman. Busy day today, will post more later.

I dunno, DavPaz isn't that smart.

/waves at the dead thread.

I started the vote on Malc because Malc always says "Let's vote for two people, any two people" and I always vote for Malc. Tradition.

I know! We should be lynching them.

For what it's worth, my last post yesterday before Curio finished Dav off was going to be about this - I wasn't suspicious enough of Dav to put in the last vote, and was going to put in a vote for a quiet person* because I thought the villains were going to continue offing quiet people, so either getting them to pipe up or lynching them made sense.

*Goddess Jasmine, largely because someone had mentioned her a couple of times but she'd still been fairly quiet. I'm not particularly suspicious of her as there were about five people who hadn't said much, though. Including Gazchap, which seems to have been a good result going by the lack of Brainiac kills last night.

So, the question coming to my mind is why were Craster and Bobby killed? I'd guess that the Joker investigated Bobby on night one and offed him tonight, but I don't know why LL went for Craster.

Well, we're not saying Slightly Green is evil, as since he was jailed all the bad guys have struck. It's more that Gaz might be evil (though it is more likely on a statistical basis that Brainiac just aimed at someone being protected).

If we leave him in jail he can't do any harm, but if the jailer gets lynched or killed then he'll be free again and if evil, can do killing.

I'm happy to take a chance and go for someone else, but do we have any useful information as yet? Even if we know who was protected each night that doesn't clue us in as to who is a bad guy. Only investigations can do that, and even then we have to weigh up whether it is worth 'swapping' a good guy for a bad guy.

I don't think it's worth our hero types coming forward yet. The lack of arrests and hero kills suggests they're still gathering information, and presumably so far have only found innocents.

... hang on. Batman: Have you considered arresting Robin? I can't see anything in the rules about a jailed character's PM privileges being taken away, so you could arrest Robin, then on following nights, pass on information to him, which he can share with us without fear of attack.

It's not without its risks, obv, and is probably not worth it now. But just throwing it out there in case it's useful.

So unless they're both in jail that wouldn't work, but if they're both in jail they get no night actions anyway.

That's you, bobbyaro and kalmar who have all asked questions about jail despite the rules being in post one.

There's nothing in that post about whether or not their already existing PM privileges are revoked. It merely says they can talk PM people who are in prison. Nice try with trying to lump me in with their blatant missing of rules that are explicitly stated, though.

Looks like you're not who I thought you were, then. Interesting.

It says differently in the original rules

Quote:
Jailor(1)

Larry Larson, grizzled old-timer who keeps himself to himself, looks very surprisingly like Stan Lee…

Class : Human

All arrested characters lose the ability to use any actions, unless the jailor dies, then they are all free and back up and running. They can still talk in the game thread.
All arrested characters can talk to each other, but cannot talk to their original groups. If the jailor dies, then they go back to their original communication groups.
Cannot be arrested.

Primary win condition : All bad guys in jail
Secondary win condition : all bad guys dead

Comms:
Talks to no-one.

Someone who could investigate, and who would almost certainly have investigated me very early on. Accusing me means you haven't, so are probably not a hero character.

And SG - cheers for that. I really should have seen that.

In that case, I'd say it's worth Batman and Robin working out some kind of code system so that they can communicate should one of them be arrested without raising suspicion. Just, y'know, something to think about.

These 2 seem to be playing off each other which make me suspicious.

Jailed List
Slightly Green - good
GazChap - evil - no point voting he's in Jail - I'm thinking a main villain because he has been very very quiet. But he is now in Jail so job done until the Jailer is killed.

I'm glad someone else said that. No wonder there are so many quiet people if any time two people talk, they're both tarred as evil.

I don't agree with your conclusions, Gos. I suspect Russ is innocent for the reasons I gave above, and there's not been enough from GJ to call it either way.

I'd say that it's definitely worth throwing a vote or two at a quiet one to see if they speak.

With that in mind, since we're going to leave Gaz until the jailer is deaded:

[vote:Joans]

Sorry Gos, I should have been clearer. I agree with you about Gazchap. I suspect he is a killing villain. I'm also inclined to think that SG is innocent and that he was arrested pretty much randomly by the cop.

As for who is evil, I really don't know, but I do think that it's worth our while putting some pressure on the quiet people. Alarm has been a bit lurky and putting some token posts in, it seems to me, however I will go along with Curio's voting for Joans as he has been even more quiet, and because splitting the vote won't help us get a reaction.

So

[vote:Joans]

Agreed, we can come for GazChap later.

SuperScum 2 : Day 3
VOTE UPDATE

gospvg: 1 (Slightly Green)
curiosity: 1 (Mr Russell)
gazchap: 1 (kalmar)
joans: 3 (Curiosity, gospvg, sinister agent)

Not voted: 8 (alarm, flis, gazchap, goddess jasmine, grim..., joans, jon.j, kovacsc)

With 14 players alive, 8 votes are required for a lynch, and 11 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

You guys really need to get it out of your heads that I'm a bad guy, because I'm not. While you guys continue to think that I am evil, you're losing focus on someone else who might be.

Investigate me, investigators.

OOC: And yes, I've been quiet - lack of phone line at home until Monday evening and very busy days at work have contributed to that :P

I think we may as well forget about him for now. As long as someone protects the jailor, we can find the other villains, and win that way. It's only worth going for a lynch on a jailed person if the jailor carks it, and if that happens I think we'd get a day's warning anyway, as they'd be let out in the morning.

I doubt we'd get any warning, but we can burn cross that bridge when we come to it.

You can't be investigated in jail. Right now it doesn't matter if you're evil or not to be honest. We only need to be concerned about you if you're a superhero, and I don't think a roleclaim would be worthwhile right now even if you are one. Besides, we couldn't do anything to get you out without killing the jailor, which is a Bad Idea.

Just read through all of day 3, I really want more people talking, it is good that we've got more people than before but there are still a few sitting things out.

And therefore, I'm going to [vote: goodness jasmine]

GazChap, as far as I understand the whole being in jail thing, investigators can't investigate you. So you calling for them to do so is a bit pointless.

For what it's worth I reckon the people in jail are innocent, Gazchap is innocent, and based on the fact that Curiosity has led a charge on him, that Joans is innocent. I have no proof of this whatsoever. It is merely baseless conjecture.

[vote:curiosity]

That's right. I voted again for emphasis.

Hm.

[vote:unvote]

Curio did nail Dav in, too. I'ma have to read through properly later before risking us splatting Joans before he can even speak.
