I was thinking earlier, if I was a killer I'd have totally killed someone with a nod to Malc as well. Woudl be brilliant if that was a genuine Malc kill though.

As a townsperson, I wouldn't think finding out whether he was a nutter or not was the biggest priority right now.

I am suprised that Kalmar is still standing , unless he is the gun nut he was the obvious target for last night - and losing 2 town to 1 mafia for the overnight stuff is not that bad a result.



I was trying to say that claiming as a man doesnt help the town - the baddies want to identify the women because they can recruit them to their side - the men are 'safe'

We assumed Kalmar was going to be protected by the doc overnight.

We thought warhead might have been the doc, from the slightly confused over playing role stuff, and a comment along the lines of "all will be well"

He could be, or the mafia could've assumed he was going to be protected, or he could be mafia and gone for a daring strategy.

Looking at what he wrote, it doesn't seem that random.

But why would a serial killer target me this early on? we are both working towards the same aims at the moment

I think it was a lucky guess, the only thing I didn't do was transfer allegiance right at the very end, but I had a play coming up this day to explain that and make a more compelling case for confusing the townies
Had I transfered allegiance, then I would have been in the firing line more I think.

The SK wants mainly to get rid of anyone who might kill him or expose him.

It can be fairly easy to avoid being lynched if you've been careful earlier to leave some evidence to being good, so try to nullify the ability to be killed at night.

It's not an unmitigated disaster by any means, the other mafia are squeaky clean at the moment

Why did he defend Vision? There are only 4 possible reasons as far as I see it.

1. He was part of the mafia. Seems a bit of an obvious play to make, assuming he is part of the mafia, defending his own against such good evidence would have been stupid
2. He is the useless cop, investigated Vision the first night and Vision came back clean.
3. He is the loonie, and protecting Vision was a good way to get himself in the firing line if Vision did turn out to be mafia
4. He is a townie, who was just stirring things up.

Now obviously I know whether he is mafia or not

My play was going to be to call for the jailer to arrest him, and if ApplePie is still in the game at the end of the clock, then we can assume he is either the useless cop, or a townie or mafia.

That might have led to the jailer being exposed soon....

For pointing the town at a real mafia person i'm suprised at the anti Kalmar stuff thats still hanging around - even if he is another type of baddie he'll be a loner so can be taken out later.

Aww man, I hadn't realised the day finished so early yesterday, I had loads of stuff I wanted to reply to so didn't want to do it on my phone.

Genuinely no idea why the mafia went after me.

Yeah I was wondering why they went for you, since it looked like you could be a potential target for the town. Odd.

Yeah, seems like a waste of a kill to me. Davpaz has just picked up that me and Joans didn't play much, I know it's a bit meta data ish, but you'd think for two players that usually love to get involved people would put two and two together and assume we had been busy IRL together. Or maybe that's just obvious to me because it was me that was busy.

Perhaps it was the threat of the 'proper' post coming up off me that scared the mafia.
