Day 1 and 3 have both been pretty quiet with nobody really knowing what to do. It was only day 2 that there was some real voting going on that people could get behind, and typically that both took off and finished when we were both out on thursday afternoon.
The problem with the other days was that there just wasn't really much to say, and after the last game (I think), when I was accused of being guilty because I was quiet, then guilty when I "turned up to defend myself", meant I figured I may as well keep quiet.

I suppose they could have targetted you both because it is an odd choice and so harder to read anything from it...?

I wish I had been reading the thread more so I could start speculating. I might try and do that later.

You'd do better here in the dead thread because we can give you more ideas about what is actually going on and there are enough people in here to recognise tells / conflicting information

Gah. Killed by my nemesis and counterpart. Apologies to those I killed (craster, zaphod and joans) but I did have fun with the game. I didn't bother trying to work out who anyone was, just avoiding the gun nut.

Mr Serial Killer #2 seems to be doing incredibly well, having knocked off the Mafia Godfather and the other serial killer in what, to me, seems to be a knowing manner.

I picked people who I thought wouldn't get lynched during the day phases what with my aim being to get everyone killed.

I don't know if sk2 is just getting lucky or is picking up on mistakes in people's posts or what. I've tried to only PM when nobody else is online just in case anyone watches the who's online and what they're doing list.

Can a friendly mod remove nickachu from the villagers group? I'm on my kindle.

I assumed that all the roles had male/female descriptions. Like the bus driver did.

That was one of the things we picked up on, the only people that knew for certain at the start of the game that the power roles had genders, were people who were in power roles. Other people could assume...

In the rules only the townies had their gender explicitly stated, so people talking about gender as if it were more significant than just for prozzies, were a possible tell for townies.

Nickachu being one of them, Runcle is another townie likelihood.

Bah, started off well (I *investigated* TheVision night one!).

Sadly got it wrong on day 4 (I wasn't able to investigate anyone else due to the doctor protecting me), and then when I finally did investigate I chose the gun nut. Doh.
But as it says the SK would have got me anyway!

I just assumed that was a double bluff / diversion, but should have realised that for a new player they'd probably just follow the role - that's what nick was doing obviously.

I thought Nick was just a townie and thought you had settled on that decision as well so was surprised when the voting for him raised it's head again.
I'm surprised you weren't targetted sooner-even though you were protected, all other roles carried something out so they obviously didn't waste a chance on you. The SK hit you last night though so maybe you were making them uncomfortable? I wouldn't be surprised if Kov was a SK.

We had lots of conversations about whether you were the cop or just a very good player. Either way we left you alone the second night because we assumed you would be protected and had done all the damage you could do. Plus you may have started to go down the wrong road for other mafia, and we could use the trust the town had for you for our own ends... or at least that was the plan!

Yeah I'm still sure it's either Kov or LS.

Actually it was the "the x had an italian accent" joke that made me think it might be Nickachu, but that was probably just something Grim... threw in.

The town were poor voting for Nick, it was clear what he was, and why he was doing it.

Curiosity is doing a damn fine job of deflecting all attention away from himself.

That was Grim... I left out an italian reference in the first kill, so Grim threw that in to make it obvious it was a mob hit.

What is your suspicion of Wullie? I'm sure he's a power role but can't decide what he is. I keep thinking he's a baddy because henvoted for me on the first day which seemed like a really daft thing to do if your a good power role (voting with no reason) but maybe he's the doctor

It's just a hunch, and as demonstrated they aren't very reliable

There is a page somewhere which shows all the people logged into the server and what they were doing - it was highlighted in one of the very early games and ruled out as metadata and not something which people should do (so you see if they were reading a PM or whatever).

Not sure if it still exists.

However there is also the list at the bottom of the forum which states who is actually online (unless they have decided not to share that with everyone else)

I turned off my online status, after it was apparent the SKs were both people who were online during the day...

Yup, all night actions of the first day were done within about a 4 hour window during the day.

There were like three names that EVERYONE was suspicious off practically from day one, and then suddenly malc spontaneously goes "hey, look, sinister agent is clearly evil, because I just voted for him!" and everyone piles on, completely ignoring everything else they'd been saying all week.
