I have doubts about Mr Russell and Zaphod - they both seem to be producing lists of people that we should all suspect, with flawed reasoning.

If there are flaws in the reasoning then say and we can go over them.

The reasoning behind the lists i've used are :

1) The people who didnt vote for Craster

Craster was a GB , It seems unlikely that both GB's would have voted to lynch him although i think one may have voted to try and muddy the waters

2) Bobbys list *note* Bobby did not have an investigative role , he was a blocker , but the fact that he blocked and the GB's then killed someone overnight means his block was unsuccessful (which is partly the logic you are using to say you cant be a GB) , as he did not actually block a GB at any point anyone he attempted to block is in the clear for being a GB but could still be the gatekeeper

As for me , the only things i can try and point to which say i'm on the ghosts side is Bobbys list (may be some flawed logic see above) and the fact that i voted for Craster 2nd after Bobby but long before anyone else had decided to go for him.

Mimi wrote:
Bobbyarro's list... I am not sure if it is that much help as I don't think he found a GB on any of his sliming nights, otherwise he'd have given us there name

Errr , he didnt investigate he blocked , Gazchap was the investigator and if he had been successful we would all have known because there would have been no overnight kill (i'm still interested what happended on day1 with no kill)

Mimi wrote:
though maybe 'Runcle - ghost?' means that he'd investigated him and found him to be a ghost and was leaving a clue.

He couldnt tell if the person was a ghost , however if he slimed them and there was a GB killing then he knew the person was not the GB , so i read these more as 'not gb' rather than 'ghost' , also remember he probably targetted the same person on day 1 and 2 (since there were no kills after the first night) so he did not actually target everyone on his list so some of this is his thoughts however there is some real info in here as well (the trick is being able to tell which is which)

With 9 players alive, 5 votes are required for a lynch, and 7 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

http://www.beexcellenttoeachother.com/counter/

We probably need to do something soon. Any ideas what?

Yes we need to vote - of the non voters right now :

Not voted: 6 (cpt_droman, joans, malc, mr dave, runcle, zaphod79)

I will be around again in about 45 minutes and can put a vote in , i dont think we can count on Mr Dave being back and possibly not Cpt_Droman which means we're going to be very close to not having enough for a lynch

I'm happy right now to vote for you (sorry) / Malc / Mr Russell

The fact that Mimi has voted for Malc and wont be around to change her vote makes me lean a little more to him simply because we need to do something , although for me i think the top of those three is Mr Russell so i'm going to vote for him now [vote: Mr Russell]

But can change things before the end if I need to.

A little over an hour to go - if today times out we lose a ghost and tomorrow we will have 8 players 3 of which are anti-ghost.

I don't know if I'll be around to see the end either, and, seeing as he was my original target (albeit for a joke), I think I should go back and [vote: Mr Russell]

That's 3, so if Mr Russ isn't a GB, then the 2 GBs (unless they're already voting for him) are about to pile on...Maybe.

Zaphod, there is still the possibility that the GBs will hit the Gatekeeper tonight. (They don't know who she is, do they?)

I'm really torn between Joans and Mr Russ.
Joans logic just seems a bit to sporadic for me but there should be a lynch today and time is running out.
i'm not going to commit to anything just yet, i've had a read through and am feeling the weight of the decision.
with everyone saying i should choose, i don't feel i've got a strong enough basis for my choice.
i'll check back in 15.

There is , however its much more likely they will take out the 'known ghost'

If you were a GB why would you risk it ?

A good point. Shall we just lynch Droman then to make things more interesting? :DD

*Disclaimer - this was a joke, I don't really want to lynch him, ok.*

I'm really not sure what to do, I know I'm a ghost, and I don't want a GB rush to take out another ghost (which is what looks like is happening to Russ). Now it's my understanding that there are only 5 ghosts left, how hard is it going to be to get all of them agreeing!

Quite an odd post , there are *6* ghosts left at the moment , and 2 GB's so i cant see how there can be a 'GB' rush against someone ? (there is also the Gatekeeper who is on the GB's side but doesnt know and cant communicate with them so couldnt take part in a 'rush')

No, but they will have ideas in their head about whom the GBs are, and will be trying to do the opposite of what we are trying to do.

A quick rule reminder - Dana now has the win condition GhostBuster. While Dana can't communicate with the GhostBusters (she doesn't even know who they are), she does count toward their numbers for working out the winners. So at the moment, it's 5 vs 3 in the towns favour.
Note that the GhostBusters don't know who Dana is either.

Sorry I took my 5 from this post.

Right, and this has nothing to do with Joans "lynch droman" gag.

[vote:joans]

this is because he seems very keen to get rid of Mr Russell.
I've also met joans a couple of times and he came across as dead quiet, and it's always the quiet ones.

But the ghosts don't know who the GBs are, and the Gatekeeper doesn't know who the GBs are, so although their intentions are completely opposite, neither side knows if it has achieved its aim until they've actually done it.

As I've previously mentioned I'm unsure of you , however I do think we need to let Cpt_Droman have his say as he's the only person we can all trust right now.

Given how well our Ghostly choices have been i'll not be suprised if your telling the truth here but this is the way it has to be.

I was going to vote for mr.russ after a quick read, hes played the game pretty well and kept himself out of the firing line. Which suggests to me hes got a power role and I dont think us ghosties have any left. Anyway I'll vote for Joans if needed.

Look, if you change your mind, the only other option is Mr Russell. He's probably a ghost as well. It's a lose-lose situation.

You've been given the responsibility and you've taken it. Fair play to you sir.

Although he tried and tried to get you to change your mind, eventually you all turn on Joans, who vanishes with a dissapointing *plup*.
Joans was a Ghost.

:sigh:
I had money on you in this game, Ghosts.

Day actions ASAP, please. 2 hours max (stay tuned, though - I think it'll be over in minutes...).
