Quite. He's not been in the game much at all, so he's decided to throw this one in for shits and giggles.

Or because I'm Peck and I think you're fake roleclaiming, of course. But let's forget that, eh?

Has it really taken that long for you and your GB buddy to come up with that? It's because everyone's been saying it'd be such a stupid thing to do, that you've decided to go ahead and do it. Nice try at the double-bluff, but it doesn't wash.

That's it, I'm too busy for this. Whatever Myp's plan was for roleclaiming Peck, whether he really is Peck or not, I'm not sure I care anymore.

Alternative scenario - I'm not Peck but I don't believe you are either, and fake roleclaim to flush out the fact that you're a lying GB scum.

Either's more likely than you being Peck.

He's more likely to be a bored ghost than a bored GB though, realistically.

WHAT THE...

Now I'm totally confused...

Gut feeling..
Roleclaiming as Peck out of the blue is madness (bad for the team) unless you want to draw out the real Peck, so Myp is a GB.

The alternative is that Myp roleclaimed for no readily apparent reason, and Mr Chris decided to commit suicide for. um.. no readily apparent reason.

That leads me to vote Myp. Which then makes me wonder if that's what Mr Chris wants...
ARGH!

We have a few options here :

1) Myp correctly claimed , Mr Chris false claimed
2) Myp false claimed , Mr Chris correctly claimed
3) They both false claimed.

In 1 and 2 we kill them both , its just a question of who first

The only reason i can see for a fake claim is keymaster / gatekeeper stuff which is that one of them is 1/2 the SK , is very confident of who the other 1/2 is and is doing this as a way to release Mr Stay puff

Right now the role claim for a person known to be in the game looks really silly from Myp if its false , the counter claim from Mr Chris looks really silly unless its true.

So - we have our two candidates for todays lynching and quite possibly one for tomorrow [vote: myp]

Fake roleclaiming when easily disproved is dumb, and I'm finding it hard to believe that anyone would do it. (Well, I could maybe believe it if it was Mr Russ)

However, you've generally got to reckon there's no point to a fake roleclaim after the real one - losing a night is preferable to losing half your remaining side.

Hey if your dead tonight and your Peck - Mr Chris is on the block tomorrow

If your dead tonight and your not then we'll be having discussions with Mr Chris but we'd also be looking back at what you've done over the last few days.

Agreed, I don't think it leaves us any other options. Which is going to be a pain in the arse if myp is peck and Chris is a ghost.

Yep, so something good will come out of my roleclaim. I just felt Peck was pretty useless as I felt I wasn't going to get offed by the GBs.

Just remember, Mr Chris and Joans! Get them both.

That's what I was trying to say.
I have been pondering the merits of a GB popping up afterwards to effectively get the 'Real Peck' (as if the 'Real Ghostbusters' weren't bad enough) lynched. However - that doesn't answer the question of why roleclaim in the first place. The only logic I can see is that Myp wanted to get the real Peck out in the open so his GB mate wont lose a turn.
So, it has to be:
[vote: Myp]

Right - I'll 'fess up here then. I'm not Peck. I am a lowly ghosty who is civic minded and very supicious of Myp's roleclaim.

I have, however, got the information I was after. Mypsy is not Peck, and he's almost certainly a GB rather than selfish and/or deranged.

We keep marking your words and then you change them, though. It seemed that Kalmar was your number one target and now he's disappeared of your list of GBs... It's a bit hard to keep up. If we do off myp and he is Walter Peck, though, we have lost a potential roleblock, but then the GBs would leave him until last, I suppose.

It looks like myp or Mr Christ might be up for the chop. If myp is the real Walter Peck I think he has made a strange decision that might only help us b finding out the state of things upon his death in regards to Mr Chris's roleclaim... I don't really want to vote of myp as if he is Peck then he is an asset to us, but then again most of the value of his asset has been lost if he has announced who he is as now the Gbs can sidestep him, so with all that in mind I think that even if it does mean offing someone who does turn out to be Peck it will lead us to some information

[vote: myp]

Huh? There's nothing I'd like better than to lynch myp, he's been on my case all night. But I think we'd do well to explore this a bit more before rushing to lynch one of them.

Whee, go the ghosts, heading towards Myp.
His trousers explode off! He has no penis!
Myp was Walter Peck.

Night actions, midday tomorrow (Wednesday)!
You can let yourself into the dead thread, Myp.
