It did seem that he wanted everyone to know you were not around , saying it twice like that makes it look like he's trying to protect you , he might have just been looking out for you because he knew real world stuff was going on , or he could have been protecting one of his GB friends.

Well, I FOS Zaphod, for casting aspersions around willy nilly. Let's see if he pops along to defend himself.

Or he was, like the nasty, evil little humanoid he is, trying to cast aspersions on me. I am pure as the driven ectoplasm, me. Also, I will sell my vote for food.

All I can say is that I am a ghost... so if you vote for me then the GBs are one step closer to winning...

Am I worth that risk?

Yeah, I don't know. You have me completely thrown. half the time you come out with logocal arguements for the ghosts, then you'll throw a curveball with some random comment that sets my suspect-o-meter off! :D

Grrr.. dunno what Ive done to look like a GB.
Runcle - I wasn't around for most of day 3, and when I did get back there were only a few hours to go and it looked close to noone getting possessed. I have to confess I have no particular reason to suspect Craster, in fact there are a few others I suspect more - most notable Mr Russell for seemingly trying to stop the Craster lynch.

Only other thing I'm reasonably sure of is that Runcle is a ghost as the coins came quick this time ;)

Today.. with the choice of Kovacs & Joans...
[vote: KovacsC]
partly to balance the levels, but mostly as I think he is has been more suspect than Joans from the start.

Hmm. Well, I was suspecting Joans due to his early justification in this thread, so to balance the votes and attempt to get some GB action I'll [vote: joans]. It'll be interesting to see how those of The 6 who haven't voted yet go.

Right, this is my suss list. Having thought about it [vote:mimi].

By that list, everyone you suspect of being a GB voted for Craster. I'm just not sure I buy that.

Problem is everyone looks dodgy.

Kovacs, I was fairly sure was safe up until the rule clarification - I've detailed quite extensively why I think he's not a GB, and I thought he wasn't an SK due to surely the other one having found him and formed a marshmallow man by now. But if he needs also to correctly find the other, then that transforms the logic I was working under, and he's no longer as safe as I thought him to be.

If he's the SK, it implies that if someones found him, They'll also be defending him. Which makes me look bad if he is. Crap.

Also - the SKs number the same as the GBs and don't have the same slimer related weakness as they do, and stopping them early would make winning much easier, so trying to get them seems like an equally valid goal.

On that basis, I'm willing to vote Kovacs or Joans off. On balance, Kovacs seems like the more dodgy of the two from his posts, but by basic probability, if you subscribe to the Kovacs is not GB theory that I do, Joans is the better bet as he can be one of 4 bad guys, but Kovacs only 1 of 2.

So, to vote right now, I'd have to flip a coin, as I can't really choose between the two. And my coin came down Kovacs side up. (Who put him on the coins, really?)

[vote: KovacsC]

OK, I agree with the logic so far. I think that it is likely that the 6 people that did not vote for Craster will contain at least one GB... though if they truly thought he'd be 'in for it' anyway it would have been a good way to have formed a bluff. However, they wouldn't have known this until the last few minutes, so if one of the voters is a GB, I think it is likely to have been one of the very last to vote.

Of those that didn't vote my first thought was of Kalmar, because he seems to have reached some odd conclusions from time to time, though as a few people have said the first few days of the game saw Craster pushing to point a finger at Kalmar for a lot of the time, which makes me think that he is in the clear as far as being a GB is concerned.

As for the other people that didn't vote for Craster, I don't really have much idea on which one of them it is most likely to be. I do not much see what he has especially done to be the most suspicious of the bunch, apart from have a ready excuse for him not voting, but he might be telling the truth. However, there doesn't seem to be anything much more telling on anyone else, either. None of the people that abstained from voting against Craster seem to have done much that stands out in the game, or at least anything that has stuck in my head.

Well, I don't know why you find me suspicious, Runcle, as you haven't actually given any reasoning.

As far as I can see I did not lynch on the two days that people voted out ghosts, but did vote to lynch Craster, who was a GB. I'll admit that I wasn't too sure if that was the right thing to d or not, but if I was a GB I would have known, and I would have jumped on the lynching bandwagon the first two nights rather than lynch a GB if I was a GB.

My love of the outdoors and my completely useless suede boots?

I don't think the 'sitting on the fence' argument makes sense if you remember that I may have been unsure the two nights that people lynched ghosts but helped lynch a GB. I don't find my non-vote that strange when I didn't think there was enough evidence to vote off two people who it turns out were innocent :smug:

Anyway, I am voting for Kovacs only because I would rather he was lynched (who is only as suspicious as the rest of the people in those six as far as I can see, but still have a chance of being a GB) than me, as I know I am innocent. Sorry Kovacs, it is only because you are out in front n teh voting and I'd rather save my own innocent neck that that of someone I am unsure about ?:|

At the risk of sounding like I am defending Kalmar, what exactly is wrong with this? Obviously from my perspective, I have fosed mimi, so to me he is stating he is a GB, but neither Mr Chris nor Myp have fosed mimi, so I wnder why they both find this statement so galling? This has been asked by Kalmar and neither have answered. Would either of you care to answer, please?

Mimi wrote:

I gave reasoning, and you post at 11:06 is exactly it. Almost every post you have made has gone along the lines of:
1) I agree with x
2) I don't know about y
3) I am unsure of z
Subtext iv) no one pay attention to confused l'il ol' me, I know nothing.

It just smacks of classic hiding-in-broad-daylight tactics.

For the 2 people up at once thing to work we really need zaphod79, Mr Chris, myp, KovacsC, Runcle, Bobbyaro, cpt_droman, mr russell those people to pick one person rather than split between 3 people and 2 no voters.

I would suggest that if kovacs is a GB then some of the 6 people voting for someone else are suspect, however, if he's not then the some of the 6 people voting for him are suspect.

I don't think the 'sitting on the fence' argument makes sense if you remember that I may have been unsure the two nights that people lynched ghosts but helped lynch a GB.

Can I just point out - you said earlier I abstained from voting for Craster. Not so, I'd have been happy to vote for him given his unwarranted pointing at me, but was unfortunately out of spook range for the entire night of play - you'll notice I didn't make any posts at all during it.
I'd say I have photographic evidence to prove it, but y'know, being a ghost, it came out a bit fuzzy and inconclusive.

Let's get this over with. He's on my list, anyway, so voting for kalmar is a waste of a vote today. [vote:KovacsC]

You all advance on KovacsC, and, er, he advances on himself, flying around and around him, faster and faster, until *pop*! He vanishes.

KovacsC was a Ghost.

Day actions by midday tomorrow (but quicker is better, yo).
