Runcle and Joans, what are your reasons for voting for the people you're voting for. I ask because your voting looks a bit over-cautious -

You have voted which means nobody will ask you to hurry up and vote, but at the same time there's little chance a person with only one vote is going to get lynched, so it's kind of a wasted vote.

Occasionally it happens that someone is really adamant about another person's guilt but the bandwagon goes the other way, but it's only day 1 and neither of you gave much reason.

Perhaps another explanation is that you're evil busters and don't want to be counted amongst the mob lynching one of the good ghosties (if we're making a mistake), or that you're hoping it will go to a no-lynch (if we're correct).

Hmmm? *creaks a door-hinge eerily*

@ Kovacs. Well, no. People have come and defended you, if you turn out to be a GB, then we can glean info from the posts defending you. If Curio is a GB, then (okay, we kill a GB) we still have no clue.

If I was a ghost would fellow ghosts not defend me too?

Not long to go now... Early risers are up and about, you'll have to hide soon...

Anyone that comments on the topic locking is clearly a GhostBuster, by the way...

<phew> - i was searching for someone to message and wondering how :-)

Kovacs , if you were a GB the other GB's know who you are and can communicate with you.

If you are anything else , the only person who knows your role is you , and you cant 'prove' it to anyone else (please no proving attempts I remember faked and unfaked screenshots of pm's giving roles in the past.)

Exactly, he has clearly had communication with people because he doesn't know this!!

I'm totally lost and have no idea what's going on.

1 more vote for Curio? We're not going to be able to switch before 3pm.

Post subject:  Re: Day One - Containment Faliure!

Yes, it's kind of the key element of the game.
The Townsfolk / Ghosts have no way of knowing who anyone else is, until they've either been lynched or whatever.
So we have to guess.
Based on what people say, or the way they say it, or who they voted for and how that turned out.

If you do know who other people are, you are in a special group of some sort. In this game, the only group who knows who eachother are, are the ghost busters.

So you can see how that might be interpreted as yet another slip on your part ;)

Thought you'd show up and muddy the waters Craster. Not defending your GB buddy, but enough to get a lynch through and save him.

So by having commenication with people I don't know that... makes no sense at all.

The lack of communication makes more sense for me not knowing..

Sorry bookmarked - I dont see things changing from Curio at this point , if Kovacs is a GB we've still got time to catch him - i think he's making too many 'mistakes' for this to actually be an act.

Just based it on the coins really. That and because the vote was partly jokey and partly to get things on the way. Im not too sure about going for either kovacs or curiosity.

As I said I'd prefer to lynch someone whos been pointing there finger around. Such as Gill who has voted for a few people, and I remember zaphod being suspicious of a couple of people. Ok if we lynch them and they turn out ghosts then we wont learn much, but if they end up as GB's then we'll possibly know who isn't a GB.
It's all ifs and buts though.

Sometimes it's not about learning though. Sometimes it's about taking that 1 in 7 chance (or whatever the odds are)

:this:

We're not going to get enough to switch to someone else at this point , its better to lynch than not lynch and I dont see him comming back on here to try and defend himself.

[vote:Curiosity]

That doesn't work either. :shakey:
I was asking you to rephrase your comment to make some sense, as I didn't understand it. I then went on to imply a reason for that being that you were not amongst us in the spirit realm.

Author:  Grim... [ Fri Aug 28, 2009 14:32 ]
Post subject:  Re: Day One - Containment Faliure!

And so it is done.
The ghosts swirl around a quivering Curiosity, one by one flying through him. He gets bigger and bigger and bigger and then, suddenly, he's just not there any more.
No body.
Just nothing.

Curiosity was a ghost.

"Day" actions by midday Tuesday, the new night will not start before 9am on Tuesday.
Have a great Bank Holiday, all.
