It's the first day, and we've got posters who've never played the game before. Other long-timers here know just as well as I do that it's unlikely that Kovacs is behaving any more scummy than any other flustered first-timer.

So, that makes me suspicious of kalmar, Rev Owen, and Bobbyaro - as they have played many times before and know full well that Kovacs isn't showing real signs of being suspicious here.

I agree it'd be a bit mean to lynch someone on the first day of their first game.

But come on, unless you're trying to deflect attention from a fellow buster, you can't argue he hasn't made some genuinely suspicious looking slips:

"Gee this is hard work as I don't want to give myself away yet"

And practically everything else has had a bit of an odd ring to it.

If you want to give him a free pass for the first couple of days that's fine, come up with someone else, but don't pretend he doesn't look as dodgy as a human with a large ghost trapping apparatus strapped to his back in a room full of ghosts.

Man, I really want to vote for Kovacs, as he's coming across really badly. But as before, if he were a ghostbuster, they'd surely be advising him, and he'd not be posting quite the way he is.

Which leaves a possibility that he is one of the keymaster/gatekeeper pair. Who will always have a non ghost win condition, regardless, but I don't see them as the main threat. Although hitting one of them would be preferable to a ghost.

And I'm not spotting any other likely candidates.

Fair point, I did mean that did not want to give up what role I was playing as it could have been any of the five... and every one else was saying they were a ghost.. which of course they could be lying..... oh well lynched on day 1 cool I suppose..

There's no reason he couldn't be one of the 3 pro-town power roles, either - if that slipup is what it looks like. Although admittedly, that means there's a 5:3 chance of him being a bad guy power role.

Now I think about it, this is a good point. And as Dave says, if he was a GB they'd surely have told him to STFU by now

This is going to look like I'm only coming out as my name's been mentioned, but I've been out and about spooking people all day, and only just got back in.

I'm in 2 minds about Kovacs, he does seem like he's got something to hide, but then he also doesn't seem any different to normal.

Lots of people are jumping at shadows at the moment, which is pretty normal for day1.

We really need to target someone and see what happens.

For what's it worth I think Kovacs probably is dodgy but I am reluctant to vote him out on the first day when it's his first time. If that's the way the vote goes though then I suppose I will support it.
