Hey Grim... so reading my role description I'm described as 'an exotic dancer by day'. By day? by day? I'm playing a character who has no grasp of the economics of strip clubs.

(7) 8:20 - LaceSensor - "we need to stop the spread of STD's"
(8) 8:59 - Morte - "much piling on but I doubt the forces of darkness would have their act together"

10:43 - Superdupergill posts saying why is there a rush ?

(12) 10:54 - Joans "No body wants him"

Good post. Your five villains are probably the ones mentioning the need to hurry up.

Well it would have been more conclusive if myp had voted for MaliA which suggest the villains laid low.

Ahem - I'm pretty sure you could have said that in character.

Number of aliens participating in the first lynch vote last game = ZERO.

I may aswell make a vote since theres a bit of a gang on me.

[vote:The Rev Owen]

That link to me being the serial killer is way too obscure for anyone but the SK himself to pick up on, so I suspect him as a bad guy.

It only proves that one of them laid low. It doesn't really suggest anything about the rest. I definitely suspect the majority of them added to the swing there, with that "let's hurry up" meme. Townies should *never* want to hurry up!

Quite. There's a pretty much equal likelihood of the bad guys all voting for Mali, partly voting for Mali, or not voting for Mali - especially on day 1.

We've missed far too many lynches for that to be true, particularly last game.

Tis a good point by Curiosity tho....
Not voted on day 1: (bobbyaro, doctor glyndwr, malc, myp, superdupergill, zaphod79)
Poor old Malc was in there t00...

So, guessing at least 1 more bad guy hid out yesterday, who out of this lot has an extra FoS on them?

Very much this. I was wound up to no end on day 3 of the last game because I thought us townies had wasted the lynch and thought we had thrown the game away. Yesterday I thought the same could of happened with only 1 post in 2 hours so I thought I'd vote in a hope we could at least lynch someone.

I'd FOS at Doctor [s]Doom[/b] Glyndwr and possibly even zaphod. Or maybe the others.

Also I have some straws, at which I am clutching.

I'm also going to FOS @ kalmar, as he seems dodgy in some way. And possibly Rev Owen.

Have I offended enough people to get killed during the night, do you think?

Like I said, we typically have very poor posting in these threads on weekday mornings. This wasn't the case today, for whatever reason.

I really, really think we should read too much into voting patterns from yesterday, anyone who didn't vote (like myself) may not have had chance, those who did may not have expected others to do so drastically. The only person I am really susppiscous of is Joans, because superdupergills post yesterday was correct. strangely, a number of people have come in and said, good post Zaphod, then ignored this :S

Particularly, this...??

What, you think Zaphods post makes sense, then vote for Runcle? Surely you should vote for Joans here?

As such, [vote:Doctor Glyndwr]

1) Here at beck and call, but not really saying much - apart from the above nonsense.
2) The coins.

Bobby, your vote has an '=', not a ':'.

Also, Runcle was the first in Zaphod's list of 'dubious pile-on voters', so voting for him isn't exactly odd.

Because it just typically is, that's all. It was a short deadline, and it was a midday deadline. Both of those are conducive to a day timing out.

I don't know how many times I can say the same thing.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I voted for him. I messed up my quote, I meant to quote the first line of his timeline too, that showed that post from Runcle.

Again I put a vote in because nothing was happening there had been one post in 2 hours, and no votes for about 2 and a half hours. I would have thought the day would have went into tuesday since it was pretty quiet and no one voting and I would have missed today because I was meant to go to Uni but I've been feeling less than great today so hence my appearance today.

On top of that nobody was looking suspicious, and there was no way to credit MaliA was innocent its all guesswork, he had most votes so he was the obvious candidate.

Good afternoon. You know who's stirring my gut instincts about baddies today?

Curiosity.

You seem almost too helpful man, and something's not right about the way you're shying away from saying anything definite, but instead using wooly language to suggest that no theory may be correct or incorrect.

Your lack of conviction disturbs me, so [vote:Curiosity]

I was trying to explain how this game works to my gf last night, and Dr Who came on. It had a group of people trapped in a minibus with an alien, and they were arguing who was possessed & who should get thrown out. I just pointed & said 'Its kind of like that. But sillier' :D

Indeed. I'm the only person who voted for a bad guy last time round (that we know of).

I'm not a bad guy, and you'll know this when they bump me off at night.

Look, it's Deadpool!

[note: This is how I'm going to deal with people who seem to know they're playing a game for the rest of "today". Deadpool is the only player who knows he is playing a game. Light talk of 'votes' and stuff is fine, but it's going to be damned hard for Deadpool to drop hints if everyone is posting about RL stuff anyway ;) Hopefully by "tomorrow" people will have stopped.]

[note2: It's not just Mr Dom, obv, so don't feel picked on, buddy]

Plenty of reference books in the Computing section. I've got a copy of phpBB for Dummies, if that's what you're using. What's your web forum about, anyway?

Anyway... Looking back at yesterdays 'finale', it seems that 3 people were posing at the time of the final vote...

Zaphod: Said that he wasn't pushing the button
Curiosity: Sharing the thoughts about MaliAs innocence AND voted for myp
Joans: Did the dirty with nary a second thought...

So if anything Zaph & Curiosity are off my FoS list, but...

[vote: Joans]

I am considering changing my vote to one of Dr G or kalmar, but can't decide which one.

Indeed. I'm the only person who voted for a bad guy last time round (that we know of).

It's not beyond the realms of possibility that a villain might vote for another (especially one with no votes at that point) in order to put himself above suspicion. Particularly if they're a crafty bugger like, f'rinstance, you.

[vote: Curiosity]

Okay we have till 5:00 tomorrow - we dont need to rush things , however (again) we should be looking to lynch someone rather than let the day time out and the baddies kill again.

Although Joans pulled the trigger last night that doesnt look like co-ordinated action , however he's a clever enough player to know that and try and use that as an excuse.

The Rev's distancing from a role claim earlier still looks odd to me , he fingered Runcle so thats still where my vote is.

I'm going to wander round in the rain for a while so wont be talking to anyone else here for a good few hours :-)

Actually, yeah, I wouldn't put that past me.

:D

Apart from, I did give a reason for my vote and called how myp was playing, to the point that both Spiderman and Venom apparently acted on what I said (unless they drew their own conclusions). So if it was a ploy, it was far from a success!
