I can see what you're saying, but if I were an alien there's no way I'd be making such obvious moves on page 2 of day 1. If you'd hung an alien on Malc's suggestion, I'd have been next. Malc suggested two people at random, but I deliberately ignored his suggestions; I don't know if he's trustworthy or not. So I generated my own random choice between 1 and 23 instead. I have no idea why people listened to me and not him, our guesses were equally valid.

And indeed, Elvis did get his head. Don't get caught up on that. With Owen dead, it won't help us find the aliens or the mafia.

I did some sums. I reckon there is a chance of between 11/23 and 15/23 that they have a second member right now. We've previously made the mistake of ignoring the cult element until it's too late -- we shouldn't do that, although we don't have anything to go on really anyway. I would guess the Mafia recruiter would have been very, very cautious yesterday -- probably just a few posts, maybe a late vote on the LaceSensor bandwagon? 'Course, that's the obvious course, so they might have done something quite different. What do you guys think?

I don't like voting early. I'm more interested in seeing people's reactions to my accusations. If they come back with a reaction I'm not happy with, I'll vote for them.

So to sum up: you vaguely accused Shin and Malc and you handwaved your way around it with "oh, I just wanted to see what they would say, so I didn't vote". Now Zardoz has called you on this and voted for you, you're suddenly voting for me rather than "seeing what I say". Why have you changed tactics?

Why would scum players be helpful when being quiet is generally far more successful? Being loud gets you lynched and makes you a target for the scum. That's a hell of a risk for the Mafia, starting with just 1 character. And the Aliens have more to lose than to gain by being conspicious. At best, if they had a full set of 4 Evil Aliens, they might risk one of them being a bit louder and trying to mix the townsfolk up. Perhaps by prodding bandwagons along and trying to get them started, very much in the manner you are doing.

The only doubt I have is that he's being very bold for a scum player, but I have no other explanation for why he's coming after me.
