The town are not truly shocked to see that Zardoz isn't present. The door to his humble shack is open, and the bravest of the villagers peek in. The small table stands on it's end, with Zardoz lashed face-down, his back held open at various points with medical retractors. In some places his spinal cord is visible, and each revealed vertebra has a hypodermic needle inserted into it. Yellowish fluid fills drips from the small pin-prick wounds. The blood has run from between the straining retractors, and runs down his legs onto the floor.
On his shoulder, the number '80' can be seen. On the back of one leg, hard to make out in the blood, are the words "I liked that lamp."
Bluecup looks closer at Zardoz's mouth, to confirm what everyone present expects - his incisors are missing. There is a bone-saw lying on the floor in front of the table.

On the wall of Zardoz' shack is a large crucifix. Zardoz was a Priest.

With 13 alive, 7 votes are required for a lynch, and 10 for a nolynch.

Well, whoo to yesterday's lynch - now if we find the SK we can be the first town to ever win (and even if we don't we've still got a semi-win, which I believe is the best any town has done so far).

Am I right in thinking we might as well reveal our roles (except for the loon, I guess)?

Bring it on! Kill me and find the truth! We can afford to kill a few troublemakers now, but instead you'll be left with the shutty-up types that infest the fringes of this community.
Now who wants their beaver stuffed?

I'm a vanilla townie, and I'm tempted to go with Dimmers again, he seems to be psychic this game.
I had him pegged as a priest, TBH.
What's the score, Dims?

M'collegue and myself discussed this before the start of the day, so with that in mind -

I'm a Masonic Townie. Silly handshake, rolled-up trouserleg and all. Bluecup will be able to back this up.

Well, he's suggested, a lot, that he's a VH (lots of references to stake, and then the Buffing shoes business).

The logical course now is to revel town roles. The Serial Killer can kill anyone without fear and the only way to get him now is by information. So my role is....MASON

The other last remain Mason is Rodafowa who I'm sure will be along shortly to back me up. (Or posted before me)

This is now 2 guaranteed people who are not the Serial Killer. A gift from The Brotherhood Of The Righteous and Loveable Whelks to our fellow townies.

And incidentally, I got bit two nights ago but the day phase started at a bizarre time and finished before I got to a computer. Fortunately you got the vamp that we were going to push for lynching anyway.

Oh, that. It is a bit of a downer that the only two vamps we managed to kill were due to, erm, 'sensitive information'.

We had pertinent information about the identity of who the vampires may have been. It would have been foolish in the extreme to ignore this information with regards to, you know, actually winning the game just because it was got by evil means. Day 3 was again wracked with indecision and seemed to be heading towards a staking of someone who wasn't involved with this information. Take a chance, KILL KILL KILL one of them, OH! he WERE a vampire! That means the other must be too. Blam Blam, thank you cobbler. Taxidermist.

It's equally a downer that somebody got turned as a Vampire without mentioning that he'd been bitten.

I don't know, that would have livened things up if we had another running around that we didn't know for certain. Luckily, Mr Russ killed him in the night :D

I just don't see how someone can justify keeping quiet about being bitten if they're keeping true to the Town win condition. But hey, what's past is past.

Okay - so why do you think that? If your knowledge of vamps came from metadata, where does the SK inkling come from?

I should say now that I agree with you, but I'm interested to see if our suspicions match. Basically, it was because of the role-block claim.

I didn't see a roleblock claim, but I suspected him from the 1st day. Plus yesterday he said "Kill Craster, then Dimrill, then me" which just fucking TOLD us that he wanted 2 more nights to get to his 5 kills. Off him now.

Like I say, bring it on. I've won the game for the town anyway. Killing me will prove I'm telling the truth, but it will devalue the town's win because I'm not an serial killer. In that case, at least I'm out of the way to continue the townie by townie cull to get the bugger in the end.

Also: why would the serial killer attempt to start a lynching campaign against the vampires? The serial killer can still win while being a vampire, he couldn't give 2 shits about the town win condition.

As of this moment, I officially have no idea about anything.

Mr Russ/Dimmers are the most suspicious.

But who the freak knows?

I know Dimrill is not the loon though.

I think psychiatry is not for me.

I'm the Psychiatrist, duh.

Also, roles claimed:

Psychiatrist
Curiosity

Masons
Bluecup
Rodafowa

Townies
Mr Chris
Dimrill
Vegetables

Not specifically declared today
Joans
Grim...
Kalmar
Lacesensor
Mr Dave
Mr Russ
Myoptika

The remainder being either Vanilla Townies, the Loon and possibly one or more Van Helsings. And the Serial Killer. Of course, some of the people above might be lying.

Oh, and [vote:Dimrill]

I am Eddie Van Halen.

[Vote:Mr Russ]

I refuse to vote Dimrill. If he is the SK, he deserves to win the game.
If not, I am right to not vote for him.

How I played the game:

Night 1 - protected Dimrill.
Night 2 - protected me
Nigth 3- protected Dimrill, would die for him
Night 4 - protected Dimrill, would die for him

Im going to Cardiff now

If I dont check in, assume vote in this order:

Mr Russ
Rodafowa
Myoptika untill I die or town wins.

Roll up roll up! Stake a twat, take a chance!

Off you go!

Are you sure you want to do this?

Morning all. I am a Vanilla Townie.

If Dudley was telling the truth then Mr Russ can't be the serial killer.
I now understand how Dimrill got his sixth sense and we need to be aware that there are innocent reasons Mr Russ could've been seen as suspicious.

That's some odd logic there.

Vote Update

dimrill: 2 votes (curiosity, vegetables)
mr russ: 4 votes (dimrill, grim..., lacesensor, mr chris)
myoptika: 1 vote (bluecup)

Not voted: joans, kalmar, mr dave, mr russ, myoptika, rodafowa

With 13 players alive, 7 votes are required for a lynch and 10 votes for there to be no lynch.

I want to say this again, because it's really important.

On night one Dudley tailed Mr Russ and said he didn't do anything.
On night one the serial killer killed his first victim

*waves frantically*
