Also: Given the town basically haven't had a majority since the first night, how are they still vaguely in the game.

The Mafia not wanting to block-vote (although, in fairness, the numbers did take some figuring out), Bobby not getting lynched and you being in the bin, basically.

Because GJ keeps voting with them.

GJ can't win by siding with the town. Side with the Mafia and she still has winning, losing, and drawing open as options.

Actually not drawing.

Can't everyone just hide in the bin if they don't lynch him? That screws a lot of the potential scenarios

Leaves enough townies for a lynch though, so would be really dumb.

Only people with night actions can hide in the bin. At least one person out there doesn't have one.

And, of course, the bin can't hide in the bin.

Are we actually sure GJ is the neutral though?

As I said to trooper, the investigations would be better on town suspects than mafia suspects.

If I'd completely trusted any of them, I'd have suggested an activation of my conversion function.

Also: Me not being around to put the final voye for you in.

But they should've jettisoned you the moment Nobby investigated you. Not doing so made the identities so obvious to everyone, and at least allowed some obfuscation and room to manouever.

Nah - we had the majority then, there was no reason for us to care (although that took some convincing).

But Bobby didn't die.

And now, I believe, the killer needs to not kill and hope to not get hit.

That may be the only way to win. It's the only one I could spot.

They can

overnight 2T 1N 1M

Then the town choose which to kill leaving the othrr alone with 1soon to be dead town.

So basically it hinges on kills tonight.

TFF & GJ kill each other - town wins
TFF kills GJ, GJ kills town - Mafia probably win, depending on who gets to the next day thread first :)
TFF kills town, GJ kills TFF - town wins
TFF & GJ kill town - Mafia probably win
TFF & GJ between them only manage to kill one townie - Either SK or Mafia wins.

I have remembered that

That's why if it's two townies and TFF left alive, it's a race to which side posts in the thread first, TFF (two votes) or two townies.

Or if it's one townie, TFF, and GJ - TFF wins if she votes before the townie and GJ gang up on her.

TFF's extra vote doesn't add one to the total needed for lynch count calculation, remember.

Post subject:  Re: LazyScum2 dead thread

How I read it:
TFF & GJ kill each other - town wins
TFF kills GJ, GJ kills town - No majority, maf kills all.
TFF kills town, GJ kills TFF - town wins
TFF & GJ kill town - Unsure, but probably town as no majority and the two kill roles go for their only threat.
TFF & GJ between them only manage to kill one townie - Either SK or Mafia wins, unless town are clever enough to not vote. then we're again in a situation where kill roles probably kill each other.
no kills: Town win.

Yeah, your no majorities are off. If there's 3 players, there's only two votes needed for a lynch, despite the extra vote in play.

Unsurprisingly, I didn't give much thought to anything other than the optimum for each group.

And no kill is still the only option open to the sk.

Things are a little more complicated if GJ isn't the sk, but it's probably still the optimal choice.

It's fairly moot anyway as GJ is also supposedly a detective and has shown little tempation to demonstrate this.

If I had listened to me instead of Grim... and TFF, is have deadid GJ on the 2nd day.

And I'd have killed TFF on night 1! I was convinced she was culting the Mafia after she turned up. :D I'd even coined the flimflam hashtag (#flimflam) to deal with this menace (which saw zero take up by fellow Mafia) and refused to PM TFF!

I've been watching but I couldn't make my mind up about whether to vote so I, um, didn't say shit. Also, it kept me below 8 votes for Mr Dave. Anyway, I'm suss:

Quote:
TFF says:

Quote:
I was allowed to choose who I joined, and the 4 options I was given to join were:

Town
Mafia
Neautral 1
Neautral 2

1 neutral gone with Cras, one still left

Now contrast this with...

Quote:
TheFireFaerie wrote:
I wrote it into my role that at the start of the game I could choose which side I was on.

Which bring me to an importany point - Gaz is telling truth! I know that there were 3 Mafia and 2 neutral at the beginning (before I joined) because I was given the choices for who to join, so we REALLY wanna kill him off tonight!!!

My emphasis. More the I knew there were 3 Mafia. She didn't say that before. She had 4 options.

Plus, she says she wants to do this:

Quote:
TheFireFaerie wrote:
Totally agree - I can bin every night, so in theory no one will ever be able to kill me - lynching would get fairly definite then though if night roles tell them i didn't die...

So she can stay alive.

I say:

1) Kill her tonight.
2) Kill her tomorrow.

I'm more in favour of killing tonight for the following reason:

FLIM FLAM

But if you need more evidence let me say this:

FLIM FLAM

But should anyone require a more detailed explanation:

a) 3 Mafia is quite enough.
b) If Gaz stays alive and TFF dies then people might think that there's only 2 Mafia left but then Gaz will say that there's still 3. Then people get confused and might even think he's been ZAPPOWED by a magic ability. Either way confusion reins.
c) If Gaz stays dies and TFF dies then people might think that there's only 2 Mafia left. Happy Times.

So, I say kill TFF today.

Also, in conclusion:

#FLIMFLAM

Quote:
Oh fuck. I've copied her in...

OH FUCK!

#FLIM FLAM

Quote:
IT'S STILL SHOWING IN THE OUTBOX!!!

I wrote this - HOW DO I STOP IT SENDING!?!?!

Quote:
Don't worry I think I've deleted it from the outbox... Phew.

Quote:
Boosh! Techno-wizardy.

Anyway, are we killing her then or what?

Then on Day 2.

Quote:
Right, which one of you two has been recruited by TFF?

She's dead. DEAD. DEADID.

DEADER THAN DEAD.

DOUBLE DEAD.

And she can't jump inside me so she's triple dead.

Dead.

Then I'm doing you both to be sure.

I luffed my role so much. Fun to play, versatile, but not at all overpowered and reliant on the day chat to be of much worth - and even then it only hints at the full picture. And with a whole trio of significant stings in the tail for me. (The description being one. Having a description that so clearly implies "not-town" certainly made life interesting at times. Particularly added to the fact that on the day Tom made himself know, a recruit appeared to happen, on the day he spent in a bin, it didn't appear to. )

Sad that I didn't end up with a new win condition though. That could've been all kinds of amusing. Part of me wanted to try and get Bobby to do something with it on night 1. In the end I went with the sensible option, but I had at one point got the entire thing typed out with asking him whether he was in a new Tomato ketchup addict support group, hoping it would be sufficiently off the wall that he'd say something during the day that would kick that part off.
