Also, people who have asserted their allegiance in a way that will allow Lord Decisive to investigate them:

Cras
GazChap

People who haven't:

Everyone else

Now who's looking suss?

We really do.

At least one will be Mafia. Likely Mr Dave or Captain Mayor Decisive Clown Face, or whatever he's called.

Assuming Troops has assigned mafia roles randomly, it could be any or none of the four.

I would expect him to attempt to balance the Mafia and the Town. If your character has a straight up investigate role, they'll likely not also be a hit man.

Possibly a false assumption, but I reckon 2/3 town and 1 Mafia for the detecting types (and possibly one neutral).

Lynch me if you think it'll help.

At the very least you'll know I've been truthful and that my information is correct, which may come in handy later.

Obviously you lose an investigative role though.

Not sure what hole.

Just as a reminder though...

People who have asserted their allegiance in a way that will allow Lord Decisive to investigate them:

Cras
GazChap
Mr Dave
Bobbyaro

People who haven't:

Everyone else
Specifically Myp

Are you trying to get more people to state something so there's less chance of Lord Decisive picking you?

No, but it's thoroughly interesting watching people try and wriggle out of posting anything decisive. Like you and myp just did.

I am happy to reveal I am pro-town, if that puts your mind at rest? However, you know the odds of Lord Decisive of picking you decrease the more people you goad into making an admission.

I'm still of the opinion that putting such a large target on yourself and putting yourself in a small pool of potential investigatees if you're a baddun is dim. And I don't think Cras is quite that belmsome. Particularly this early. and particularly particularly if he was a single member cult

and if he was bad, I doubt he'd be as lukewarm towards getting his goal of lynching the safe detective.

Could be wrong, but certainly much less suspicious than most others.

Ha, and again :)

We've got four investigators. Even if they're not all on the town's side, the chances of me not getting investigated tonight are pretty much zero - which I'm completely fine with. You appear to have more of an issue with it.

That's true enough - we've got plenty of time to post.

It's a shame Mr Dave's (not that one, that one. No, that one. Yes) role doesn't allow him to investigate quiet people, rather than giving people an excuse not to post.

Given that a number of the roles will have 'hidden' powers as well - I bet they have something that will check out those who did not hit the magic number :-)

Although it does allow considerable amounts of investigation by proxy. It's rather clever really. You can either risk being investigated (during the day no less) having said enough to potentially make you a good investigation target - whether by slipping up or talking lots but saying little, or put yourself in a group that is going to be seen as inherently untrustworthy and one that may be targeted by other power roles for that reason.
