Well, I'm now not going to be around until 1ish. I'll see if there's anyone I consider votable then. Right now, not so much. Tempted by quiet peoples, but I'm a bit guilty over how I killed Joans while we were all alive.

@Russell, leave the wee Scotch Ghostie alone, she's only posting exuberantly.
It's the silent, menacing, bit-too-solid forms lurking about we need to get rid of.

Probably - however that could just be an act

Bobbyaro wrote:
I think KovacsC pretty much role-claimed as one of the non-ghost, non-GB roles.

Again probably (although not specifically non-ghost), but does it then help us to get rid of him because he's not a GB , if we were sure he was keymaster/gatekeeper then yes we should off him but we dont know that he could be a power role for us , or someone like Peck who we want the GB's to target.

Bobbyaro wrote:
So, as far as I see it, we have a 1 in 7 chance of hitting a GB

See my post here : http://www.beexcellenttoeachother.com/f ... &start=152 for odds

Bobbyaro wrote:
with random voting. Or a 2 in 5 chance of hitting a a SK. All this talk of amnesty is bullshit. Roles were randomly assigned (I presume) therefore noobs have just as much chance of being bad guys as anyone.

They have the same chance to be , however as neewbs they are typically 'more noisy' because they want to try and participate , its always the case that if your quiet-(ish) you'll get through the first day

And i agree with Mr Dom that what we need is a candidate to focus on and push through for a lynch because a no-lynch is no good to us

Kovacs looks odd but i'm putting that down to new-ishness , a90210 ak70 looks odd and again may be down to new-ishness but he seems more focused which could hint he has help (only the GB's can communicate outside of game).

Apart from those who else do we have as a viable target ?

Alright Egon, calm down!!!
Too analytical for my liking..

I could put forward some chat about why I'm voting how I'm voting but I've already done that I think and also if I'm voting wrong I really don't want people to blame me! Och never mind-I don't like the way Curio fingered kalmar so quickly when I think the conversation between kalmar and Kovacs progressed quite naturally in a bantering way and also Curio is very very quite....maybe his human voice can't handle the wooooo  oooooooing?

@ zaphod. I agree with what you are saying, but as it stands at the moment, the odds are better for hitting an SK than a GB. Obviously, I would rather hit a GB as they are more dangerous. I think. Having said that, I think it is pretty fair to say that the "key" person is likely to investigate KovacsC tonight, and it is possible we could have a SK on the loose. They win after 4 kills (do they then exit, or keep killing?). Does that make them more of a threat to us than the GB, on a par, or less? I am not sure.

Why , there are 2 SK's vs's 3 GB's

I agree it will be *easier* to hit an SK because the GB's wont really vote for each other whereas the SK's dont know who the other is.

Okay - we have a short period of time left to drum up support the top 3 at the moment are

kalmar: 2 (Curiosity, Malc)
curiosity: 3 (superdupergill, kalmar, Craster)
kovacsc: 3 (The Rev Owen, Mr Dom, Bobbyaro)

We've had a lot of discussion around Kovacsc , and a little talk about Kalmar's odd post yesterday but i cant see any reasoning behind the votes for Curiosity , any of his current voters want to explain why he's suspect ?

I've explained twice! When kalmar and Kovacs had their exchange yesterday, i felt the conversation followed a natural path of first day banter between a seasoned player and a n00b. Curio however felt this was enough of a reason to fire a vote in. There might be nothing in that but we need to choose someone by 3pm so I felt that was all I had to go on so far as everyone else is being pretty neytral except the n00bs and me being rubbish at playing the game properly and instead wanting it to be as fun as possible I am enjoying the confusion they are creating. Also, they way I blundered about in my first game and every subsequent one wasn't unlike Kovacs method here.
Finally, Curio has floated through here a few times but hasn't commented until he had three votes. A couple of people have looked at me or even voted and I have not been afraid to respond straight away so I don't see why he didn't do something when I mentioned him and then I would have been fine.
Also, I don't even know if I really want people to vote Curio anyway since if they do and he is a ghostie then they will blame me.

Kovacs is a noob and kalmar hasn't really done anything to warrant a hanging. Curio is definitely looking suss, though. Much more quiet than usual. [vote:Curiosity]

Fuck off. You always vote for me!

Also, @Gill - The last time I got a vote on me and tried to defend myself right away I got lynched for being too concerned with being lynched.

People, I'm a good ghost. Don't lynch me.

It always seems pretty much like guesswork on the first day as there is no info to go on apart from what people say, and then it isn't so much the content of what they say but the regularity with which they post - 'too much' or 'not at all'. I don't know if it is best to have a lynch to just 'get things going', but then I haven't really read anything that has given me a clue as to who anyone might be, so I don't really have anyone to vote for yet. ?:|

Also: Woooooooooooooooooo (t)

The chances are we are going to 'kill' a ghost , however we do need to pick someone by 15:00 which is edging closer and closer , we do need a target and the fact that there are lots of very quiet people lurking in the shadows makes it hard to drum up support for them and since they dont really say anything theres nothing to 'trip them up' on

I'm not changing my vote just now because I have nothing to change my vote too however I am willing to change my vote if a push happens for someone else. Maybe it is time for those who haven't voted to tell us where they stand? Three hours should be enough time but it would be useful for people to at least let us know they are ghosting about.

Thealb978 k45 has gone quiet now...

where is Mr Chris, he was posting in the main furum yesterday as he called every one a Cheeky cunt, but not in here.... hmmm
