So Town string up the correct bad guy - game over town and SK win
Town string up the wrong bad guy , the real bad guy kills the other 'vanilla' townie overnight and its just the bad guy and iron man (assuming Craster is IM) left tomorrow - draw ?

No, the bad guys would win.

And checking on Hulk role , it was just a 'goodie' that Iron man was aware of (so he would block a lynch of them) , not other special ?

Oh and can we find out :

1 hidden rule
There is one extra piece of information about one of the roles that will be revealed if a certain event occurs.

Is this the 'Iron Man + baddie left at the end? '

You were 100% correct with this post.
If the Hulk was lynched, the last person to vote for her would be killed. SDG was aware of this.

I told you we should vote for bobby! Ok,I also said we should vote for almost everyone at some point but I was convinced about bobby. I was a rubbish hulk,I was trying to hint but I think everyone missed it. At one point I even said something about how clever I am,meaning because Bruce banner is an expert physicist but I think everyone must have just assumed I'm big headed and boasting!
So to clear things up,I don't think I'm all that. :)

He was given the same role, on purpose. No choice, really.
Gaywood was Spidey both times through luck.

Rather amusingly, when we all got the PMs saying the roles were changing, Joans ran upstairs asking me what my role had been, I told him (Black Spectre) and he told me what his had been, but by this point I wasn't listening and was checking my PMs as I'd been doing something else at the PC and was trying to keep up what was going on. By the time he had to role claim as IM I was still non the wiser and he actually had to spell it out to me when he was killed. Doh!

SDG kept the same role to.

Cheers GJ, I think so too, which is why the ruleset needs critisising (although it did go down to the wire, so...).
Also, would the wannabe be in the next game? Probably not, so would Iron Man?

What do you mean my coins mean fuck all?!

With 5 heads-joans as the wannabee
with 4 heads-bobbyaro as a villain
with 0 heads-zaphod as ghost rider
with 1 head- me and SDG villain and hulk

the lowest in the random number thing was zaphod again, and highest number was gaywood who was spiderman.

Although to be honest I did change zaphods head count to 0 as it really happened to Rev Owen and I thought that would betoo suspicious at the time since me and him were having a bit of an argument who was evil. So really it showed Rev Owen as well.

Ok: Notable things from stats (again, only players who have taken part in a third of the total games are taken into full account):

JBR continues his losing streak, now on 0 from 4.
Craster loses his =3rd most losing record by going up to 33.3% success. Runcle getting close with 22.2% success (But still beat by Gazchap, JBR (both 0%) and Sheepeh (20%) to that particular 'Honour')
The 3 most successful people haven't changed - none of them played either (Grim 80%, Dimrill and Plissken 75%)
Kalmar stands at 4th with 71.43%

In terms of raw games won, Joans, Curio, Kalmar, Lace Sensor all have won 5 game, which is still the most games won (Bad luck for Joans here getting the role with approximately 0% chance of winning)

Mr Dom, meanwhile, 2 played, 2 won. Not bad.

It terms of Survival, runcle has now survived 77.85% of the total game time(avg 5.6 days), JBR 78.87 (avg 5.5 days) and Vegetables unsurprisingly still 87.5% (6 days)
Zaphod now the least surviving (33.7% of time, 2.4 days avg) with dudley unchanged (40.8%, 2.8 days avg and Owen (43.7%, 3 days avg)

Myp is almost level with Owen on 3 days avg, 44.9%. For which, I assume he's going to call curiosity a Cock.

I was going to claim to be able to block a "character" every 3 nights, (including Dr Doom not doing anything first night, and no Hybrid kill, 4th night) it would have been ace, but I never got chance. I feel robbed. :(

I did at one stage consider killing myself as the 5th kill (in a se7en style coup-de-gras), but wasn't sure if it would have counted as a valid 5th kill...
So, Mr Grim... would it have counted?

I think I may have discovered a rather icky error in the survival calculations. Bugger.

I was going to say 'no' if you asked, as you killing someone on the last night could have ended the game (if you were called MrDob, for example).

Also, Gill, I realised you were Hulk, hence me killing you. Infact I went for :
Mr Dave - Maria Castle (investigate)
Doc G - Spiderman
Curiosity - Venom
Rev Owen - Deadpool
SDG - Hulk

So not too bad there!

Also, very well played Mr Dom, love the spelling out of the name!

Even more well played, Grim..., thanks for running this, it was really good. When I voted for JBR, I really felt like I had betrayed him.

Proud of you, Bobby. And I like to think that we've sowed the seeds of a bit more doubt for next time - several people made the point that bad guys could vote for one of their own, but so far as I could see the most suspicion by far fell on people who hadn't. If I'd kept my vote in for runcle and then gone quiet for a couple of days I might have lived a bit longer.

Would still have lost, though, naturally - I pity the fool who's on the side of me and my losing streak!

Once you were out as Iron Man a lot of the game fell onto your shoulders - if you made the right choices things went for the town , if you made the wrong choices it was game over.

I hadn't. I just cocked up trying to find out your previous figures.

Before this game you had an average life of 4.57 days, and had survived 63.86% of the total time. (and 3/7 success)
You now have an average life of 4.13 days and survived 57.66 of the total time.

We did this extensively in the game I got to lead the Cult, trying to make sure we were always on both sides of any bandwagon and mixing around who looked "innocent" and "guilty". Seemed to work quite nicely in the main.

Yeah, tell me about it. I think the role was a bit unbalanced for that reason. Once the Rev died and we were left without any investigating, I basically had a big death stick which I pointed at people and made them dead.

Also, outing Runcle was a hunch, Rev?! Holy fuck were you lucky there then!

Nah, Sorry Dave.

However, I'd like to point out that my big death stick clubbed JBR, you, and Bobby - which in my book is a pretty damned good track record.

Give me a sec and I'll dig out the post that made me pretty convinced you were a bad guy.

Here we are, from day 4:

Mr Dave wrote:

That made me uneasy - not a claim of innocence, but rather a claim of a lack of evidence to the contrary.

Ah well - you still got a joint win out of it.

Some other patterns:

Mr Russ has now been Town for 8/9 games. One SK role. Poor Mr Russ. Malc 7/8 (Penguin once)
(I've been vanilla townie 5/7 times, which I'm happy with. It is my favourite role as it allows so many ways to play it, although I do like the mouthy mildly unhinged way)

Myp has now been mafia 3 times in a row, with only one victory. (although, admittedly in the last game, the mafia were really the cult under another name, and bobby has been proper mafia foir the last 3.)

Runcle and Bobby have been friendly with each other 3 times.

Myp, Joans, Gazchap and Curio are our most common evil people, having been a bad guy role 4 times.

Malc and Zaphod have never had a role which works actively against the town.
Mimi and MaliA have never had a non town role.

That made me uneasy - not a claim of innocence, but rather a claim of a lack of evidence to the contrary.

Ah well - you still got a joint win out of it.

I don't think there's much point in saying I'm innocent, it doesn't mark me away from the crowd. That there was no reason to suspect otherwise was, however, somewhat different from others, and so that's what I said.

I agreed with you on that too. Strange Runcle lover with bizarre hints of night roles that he was.

I have no admit, I did assume that.

I spent most of the game trying to figure you out, given I had no base line to judge you by. The sad thing is I couldn't actually bring myself to vote for you after your "Please don't kill me I'm very nice x " comment on day 1, in order to heap a little more pressure.

Note how you're the only one I draw no conclusions on in my "what I think of each person" post, basically as I hadn't a clue. (And damn that Mr Dom, he played me like a sucker)

Not so. I was a vanilla townie in Curio's game.

He's dead.

His run down flat contains many pizza recipes and an Italian flag.

myp was a Recruited Mafia Hitman

I beg to differ.

The kiss at the end of my post perhaps wasn't particularly Hulky but I like to think I was an altogether more caring and sensitive Hulk :)

If I take part in another game it is possible that my behaviour will change quite a bit simply because I had last week off work. On weeks when I'm at work I don't really have access to my mobile except at breaks so I'll be much quieter, probably resulting in death by lynching on day 1 :p

I think that what I learned from my first game is something I suspected as I was playing. The bad guys, due to knowing who each other are, can analayse all posts and strange comments knowing they belong to someone who is not bad and therefore they have a better chance at detecting power roles without investigating.

The good guys however are so busy trying to figure people out they overlook all comments just because if they try to analayse them they cant tell if the person who posted is good or bad.

I think other comments I made included one about being a scientist, or my scientific nature(im not a scientist), one about coming across as being in love with MaliA which was CORNY(geddit?no? I thought that was a bit random :( ) and i cant even remember what else!

I thought you were really obvious Gill, but I was hardly going to say anything!

That image of Me and Runcle you did Dave made me laugh so much, but I couldn't comment on it at the time!

A good win for the town, but you were very lucky, grrr! :D
