That was the moment I pegged you as a priest.

Oh. Maybe I need to be more subtle in future.

Still, I survived until the third day, which is a new personal best.

And I like to think I helped steer the lynching today the way I wanted it to go, so wasn't a total waste of space.

So, in future games, anyone caught revealing or using or looking for out-of-game info gets a mod kill and a one-game ban, say? No idea how to police it though.

Fuck me. Two games in a row and I just get torpedoed out of nowhere. Curiosity last game, Dimrill this one. Ah well. That was fun.

Sorry for sacrificing you KevR, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be stopped, and I wanted to try and take the sting out of the KevR and Craster PMing reveal, guess that didn't work.

It's a shame about that, but I guess it's something that should have been in the rules right back in my very first game.

Also, how the hell do you defend yourself against someone who goes after you single-mindedly without a single shred of evidence that you can try and counter! Even ignoring him didn't help (it's done the job before) because he repeats the accusations every other post!

Man, that was great.

Yeah, we were fucked after Mr Chris's disclosure.

As such we couldn't really offer up a defense as people weren't really voicing why they were lynching us. I felt I had to roll over and take it in the hope that you might survive long enough to recruit someone else but Runcle getting killed pretty much blew that out the water.

Hat off to Mr Russ, he queried Dimrill a few times why he was convinced I was a Vampire and why they should go after Craster. Funnily enough, no reason was given.

If it makes you feel any better, your vote for KevR dented my suspicions and stopped me from investigating you yesterday.

Reckon they'll find the SK today? Various people in PMs etc to me have expressed some pretty accurate suspicions, so the evidence is there for them to find.

I too am lacking in the clue department. I am still suspicious regarding all the doctor paraphenalia left all over the murder scenes, but short of Dr Curiosity, can't think of much else, and that does seem a bit obvious.

Was someone a doctor in a previous game?

The loon's played a very poor game, you'd think getting yourself killed would be easy, we've all managed it. Plus if it's not Dim (and I don't think it is) no-one's even stuck their head above the parapet really at all.

I still think Grim... is the serial killer. However I am always wrong. About everything. So he's probably the only player you can be sure it isn't.

Oh, so Dimrill was basing his lynching fever on Mr Chris's revelation.

I'm disappointed now.

I added the following things to the GothamScum rules -

• Always play to your current win condition.
• Do not use “meta data” such as checking the times people are online to try to figure out player roles. Such behaviour will result in an instant mod kill.

This should be an interesting day.

I haven't the faintest idea who the serial killer is, hopefully the psychiatrist/loon situation will have time to reach a conclusion as well.

It's still possible for the town to lose completely if they don't find the serial killer and he kills them all, right?

I don't know if RG will want to play the game for 12 more days - he may just declare it a draw if the SK gets his 5.

The SK has, from the beginning, planned to kill himself alongside his 5th target. That works out well, as it'd be dull to have an endless stalemate.

Aw man!

My role as Priest only revealed Townies & a mason.

I think next time, Priests should be able to hold secret 'masses' with people they've found.

Want to know who I found out?

If there was no loon or psychiatrist and Curiosity has just gone with a high risk strategy to save himself it's going to be amazing. I would say "Bravo!" to him.

Jesus they're all doing it. This post written as I read pages 2-5....

Anyone who votes for Mr Russ has the brains of a small turnip. And not a bright turnip.

Joans wrote:
If Dudley was telling the truth then Mr Russ can't be the serial killer.

And for about the eleventyth time this game, Joans is the only one with a brain.

myoptika wrote:

Myoptika. You're a cunt.

Frankly this makes me think he's the SK.

Joans wrote:
Dudley said (sometime on day 2) "Mr Russ came into my shop today, but he didn't buy anything" (Seeing as Dudley was leaving us clues that we were all too stupid to follow, I'm assuming this is another one)

I love you Joans.

This is good, if people actually listen to Joans I might have contributed strongly to a win after all if they instead lynch the right guy.

The SK could actually be Joans playing a clever game.

He's got himself right out of suspicion here but he's been more on the ball than anyone the entire game. We KNOW he spotted me, seemingly the only one.... so did the SK...

I've noticed some comments that game was boring, too. I'd have to disagree. It had slow periods, but I think it's been fascinating.

I whole heartedly agree. It has been really interesting watching, I wouldn't have minded playing either :o(

It would be really funny to set up a game where the town have to survive for a set period with more than a certain percentage left, and then only put townies in and see if they actually win!

It is intersting that Myp has been completely ignored about Curiosity.
