OK. If I were the joker, then sadly that doesn't even add up as I investigated both nights, and there has been 1 joker kill. Therefore even with the joker's investigate ability I would not have been able to make that kill.

This falls down on the following point: I have not yet revealed who I investigated on night one. Good job the boy wonder can back me up if I need to prove THAT point.

Boom!

That's simply a bluff, and a poor one at that.

You have not investigated twice. The other one is a completely made-up investigation, and you're relying on getting enough votes to lynch me before anyone can step up to stop you.

:DD Brilliant.

Maybe your investigation powers are a little faulty, because you're the Joker.

You thought I was Lex Luthor but I'm actually 'The Narcissist' Lex Luger.

Now come over here so I can body slam you.

Okay, at the risk of repeating what happened yesterday, I'm going to read back today, and probably yesterday, and see what I can make of all this (also faff about after work go to the er... metropogotham museum or whatever).

In the meantime, as I'm not sure what's been said yet, can I suggest that if we're not sure of who is the villain, instead of lynching someone, we let our superheroes do them in or arrest them? There are no protect-y villain roles, so we should be able to trust our hero types to choose correctly.

...and with that Curiosity is dragged kicking and screaming to the nearest tree... he is surprisingly strong.... very strong in fact.
It's a struggle, but eventually they manage it, seems there are some surprisingly strong people doing the lynching too!

Well done town, Curiosity was Brainiac

Night actions to me by 10am tomorrow please, I should get a chance to kick off the next day before I have to leave at lunchtime.

rule clarification. Protection does not equal roleblock, it is a protection from physical harm only. However, one case I thought of after the game started was in the case of a good hero protecting a bad character, in that case the bad character cannot kill anyone, as that would kinda give the game away to the good hero watching them!
