Seems that way...

WHEN?!?

If Shin is a townie, I'm gonna be grumpy!

So why are you voting for Shin?
The bandwagon of Shin votes is pretty impressive considering she hasn't been here to raise any suspicions.

The issue with that is that in itself is suspicious to some people.

You kid is FUCKING MEAN! :'(

Back home now, yay! Anyway I resent the 'Shin is playing better than before,' this is my SECOND game, I am going to be better at it than I was on my FIRST game aren't I? So that's a pile of poop. I kept saying 'I vote for LS' yesterday as people kept asking 'wy the votes' so I explained again why I voted for him.

Me voting Dr.G in was purely because he was being uber helpful the other day and I was going to be out most of today (check the time kids) so I didn't want to be just sat there doing nothing as that isn't what a player should do imo.

If you vote for me, that's fine-but you are going to be very very sorry :(

Ok, gonna jump off the 'bandwagon' as I feel sympathy for poor old Shin.
But, guessing that the aliens would have put their vote on Shin, as well as joining in LS yesterday, we get a shortlist of:

Zardoz, Mr Chris, Mr Russell, Grim...

Only 2 have votes on them so far, Zardoz & Mr Chris,
so...

[vote: Zardoz]
cos that's the most alien sounding name out of the two

Impeccable logic I think you will agree ;)
And yes, I am probably playing like a muppet, but I am one.

What do you mean there's no 'Muppet' role in the rules?

That seems better logic really. But I don't know whether to go for Mr.Chris or Zardoz :S

I don't think I have to 'unvote' so I'll do this:[vote: Zardoz] and hopefully it'll still work. The reason I'm doing that is because I think Mr.Dom is logical in his explination and I want to get going with another lynch-hopefully not my own :S

Oooooh hidden messages n stuff !

Okay - i've had connection problems tonight so only got online to play Zardoz for my SF match about 30 minutes ago - at the moment there are a lot of votes for Shin but shes not really defending herself much beyond "if you vote for me you'll be sorry"

She was at 8 and then came on to post on the thread within 30 minutes , those sorta things also make me a little suspicious because it just takes a 'friend' to warn her that she needs to make an appearance (almost the same thing happened this morning with GJ mentioning her name and she appeared).

It could just be co-incidence but it does look sus.

Apart from Shin we have the Doc / Myp / Mr Dom all around the same level but they are a looooong way off the lynching point - do we have anyone else who we can realistically get to lynch before the day times out ?

Has anyone actually made an argument to target any of these ?

Since he's still not voted and we're a long way into the 2nd day FOS at Joans.

I'm not sure who to vote for here - I should get a chance to catch up with the thread tomorrow before the end of day so i'll hold off voting for now unless someone can give me a compelling reason for anyone other than Shin (and sorry Shin but i'd rather lynch someone than let the day time out and if your the only candiate who we can get there then it'll be you - why dont you give us some other targets to go for ?)

I don't really like turning up to defend myself, but a few people are pointing out that I still haven't voted.
I wasn't going to jump on the Shin bandwagon (perhaps a poor choice of word), because I wanted to wait for her to turn up and say something (there's still plenty of time to go before we need to lynch anyone). Now that she has turned up, I'm not particularly convinced by the whole 'you'll be sorry' thing. I mean anyone would say that anyway.
I'm quite happy to pile on and vote for someone if that's the general concensus (the only reason I didn't vote yesterday was because I counted wrong and thought LS needed another 2 to go when Grim... said 1 ?:| ).

So, like I said, I'm just watching the thread, and if it's not decided by the morning, I'll toss my hat in the ring :hat: and see where that gets us.

I don't know how I am meant to give you any targets love as my investigation skills are sadly nonplussd :(

Other than saying 'you'll be sorry, please don't vote for me,' that's about it realistically, I can't give you anything else I'm afriad

We really need 2 targets up for the chop for this to work. I suspect that the baddies are on to this, and thus those voting for people with 0 or 1 vote are REALLY SUSPECT (imo)

I'm off to bed shortly, so here's the last update.

Lots on at work tomorrow so I won't get the chance to update very often. If a mod sees that the lynching limit has been reached or that time has expired, please lock the thread up until I can do the necessary.

Cheers.

Alien Scum - Day Two
VOTE UPDATE

mr chris: 1 (GazChap)
doctor glyndwr: 2 (myp, Craster)
mr dom: 2 (Malc, Dudley)
myp: 2 (Doctor Glyndwr, Bobbyaro)

shin: 7 (Bluecup, Grim..., Zardoz, Mr Dave, Mr Chris, Mr Russell, Morte)

Not voted: 3 (joans, zaphod79, goddess jasmine)

With 20 players alive, 11 votes are required for a lynch, and 15 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

3rd post on the first page :

In the event of no consensus, Day Two ends on Thursday 11th March at 1pm.

So we've got till lunchtime today to make a decision and get someone lynched.

Ah, ok. That's ages then. I was worried it was going to time out this morning while everyone was snoozing.

1pm today, it says in the third post of this thread.

I am amenable to [vote:shin]. As I explained earlier, she seemed a bit "there-but-not-there" yesterday, and time is short(ish) to get a lynch arranged.

I am also quite happy to vote for Shin once we get closer to the deadline, but there are still just over five hours to go yet. That's a long time in a game of 'Scum—anything could happen!

Well she only needs three more votes, I too would like to hear from her first, but if it looks like that's the way it's going to go I'll stick my vote in too.

Yes, she's getting closer to the chop and the deadline now. Although, tbh, I'd like to hear more from everyone. :P

Good point. If all she's going to come up with is this again, we might as well just get on with it:

I answered that halfway up this very page.
Or would you like me to jump on and get her lynched before she has a chance to speak again?

You said that you wanted to hear from shin and you have and that if nothing was decided by the morning you'd toss your hat in the ring. So, my question is, what are you waiting for now?

Well, technically when I said 'morning' I meant 'at some stage during the morning', but if that's what you want...

I wasn't. I said I was waiting until the morning. That covers many hours, some of which are still to come.

After a brief pause in hostilities, the mob are getting restless, eager to lynch anyone, no matter who they might be.

Attention soon turns to the quirky Shin, and despite trying to drop hints, she is quickly gagged before she can say more, and dunked into a nearby stream. She struggles, but the mob holds her head under until she stops.

Once returned to the surface her pulse is checked. She's a goner.

A quick check of her pockets causes the people nearby to have a sharp intake of breath. They found a badge. A badge with a star on it.

For shame, town! For shame!

You just lynched your own police officer.

Shin was the Townie Cop.

It is now night. The deadline for night actions is 9am tomorrow morning, but please get them in ASAP.
