Day three starts with rain, and the mood of the townsfolk is equally gloomy. Two more corpses greeted them as they arose. Lying on the ground in the town square, with tongue lolling out and purpled face is Grim.... His watch has been stolen. Only 100 yards away, where he was coming out of the newsagents, Curiosity lies on the floor, a bullethole where his left eye used to be.

Grim... and Curiosity were both Townies.

Day 3 ends Thursday 8pm

With 9 players alive, 5 votes are needed for a lynch.

[playerlist]
Bluecup
Joans
bobbyaro
KovacsC
The Rev Owen
JBR
Mr Dave
Mr Russell
zaphod79
[/playerlist]

Beats me.

[vote:mr dave]

you shouldn't be alive this long and I'm going with my hiding in plain sight theory and the fact that nobody else jumped on yesterday when I voted for you, and if you weren't mafia the goons might have seized the opportunity to off you. J'accuse!

You really can be quite daft at times.

Now, hows about saying who else you think might be guilty, rather than just one?

Okay - after yesterday I thought grim... was either mafia or the vigilante because SDG was targetted on day one and he had a bit of a history with her.

It seems someone else thought this as well (Mafia and they thought they would off the vigilante by getting rid of him)

9 players left , I'd say we've got at least 2 mafia from the rules (which i've now actually looked at)

Quote:
Mafia - You are a mafia thug. Your co-thugs are ____________. Your roleblocker is __________.

So we have until 8.00pm tomorrow , any chance of actually getting a lynch in this time ?

Jeez, I thought the vigilante was supposed to be on our side?
okay, people I am suspicious of, Mr Dave, The Rev Owen and one of the quiet ones.

Mr Dave because I am always wrong about him, and I don't think he is acting suss, so he must be a bad guy!
The Rev Owen, he is still alive!
The quite ones, KovacsC, he has barely (at all) posted, and he was very vocal in previous games. This could be circumstantial, or it could be an attempt to hide.
Joans, he has barely said anything as well, but often doesn't.
Bluecup, I don't really know much about him/her tbh.

Of those three, KovacsC has had the most drastic change in style, so I am going with him.

The vigilante is on our side , they *want* the town to win , and although they had a terrible first day (killing a power role) last nights kill was 'just' a townie - at least they are trying to do something.

Zaphod because you are normally very good and forthcoming with stats and info and this time haven't been. Rev owen because like mr dave he is still alive.

I do. More valid reasoning is that his first post today mentioned the mafia.

Unfortunatly I do not have the same time i've had in the past and its very unlikely that I will have a chance to do much stat gathering if i remain alive, however 'previously' day 1 and day 2 threads would be at least 8 - 10 pages long , so far we've not even hit a 3rd page , no one is really talking - If no one talks , no one gives anything away , therefore the town cant win , its in the towns best interest to talk !

I think me being still alive is very suspicious, even though I know I'm a townie. I always die before this point of the game.

As for suspicion, maybe Mr Russell, who seems to be playing the "helpful bad guy" role. But might just be trying to be helpful.

And Mr Dave being alive is very suspicious.

At the moment, all the mafia need to do is stay quiet and they'll win. Should we target someone even quieter than the rest of us and see what that shakes out?

Vote [KovacsC]

However, as I said yesterday [vote:KovacsC]. Being silent and deadly.

So, people left to say anything yet:

Bluecup
Joans
KovacsC

So, I'd ignore them, for now. There's certainly going to be a mafia type person in the people posting.

And since, no ones asked who i was suspicious of at t'end of yesterday...

Any particular reasoning behind that or just a feeling ?

And we're all over the place on votes (you could add one to kovacsc if JBR fixes his failed vote)

Day 3
VOTE UPDATE

bobbyaro: 1 (Mr Dave)
kovacsc: 1 (Bluecup)
mr dave: 1 (Mr Russell)

Not voted: 6 (joans, bobbyaro, kovacsc, the rev owen, jbr, zaphod79)

With 9 players alive, 5 votes are required for a lynch, and 7 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

It just looked like something to say that looks helpful and trying to help the cause but isn't really. Of course there are at least 2 mafia goons, a single goon would be very unfair of Craster.
However I think it's just me trying to find anything on anyone. Hence voting for Kovacs.

Okay - Bobbys posts so far

Day 1:

Quote:
Sorry all, got scared away by all that gunfire, is it safe to come out yet?

Quote:
I am going to [vote:kalmar] to try and get two people into the fray, but let's face it, we have nothing to go on. That said, why was the first post of the day a vote for JBR? and then an instant unvote, seems very weird. Furthermore, why has no one else questioned this? Am I missing something?

Quote:
Fair enough. I was missing something then.

Quote:
I kind of agree with Mr Dave. It has been a quiet start, and so a rush lynch of anyone, unless they turn out to be mafia, really won't tell us anything at this stage.

Day 2:

Quote:
Awww crap. Gilly! Couldn't you have given us something!!!
Did Kalmar say anthing to give himself away, and if so, why would the vigilante go after him?

Quote:
I don't see any point in voting for Kovacs. He isn't going to be lynched at this point. I am going to [vote: curiosity] simply because I feel that is a bandwagon we can all get behind. he is always bad.

Quote:
Isn't this after the deadline?

Day 3:

Quote:
Jeez, I thought the vigilante was supposed to be on our side?

So, Mr Dave asks us to name our list of suspects, criticises when we don't do so, still hasn't done so himself, and then goes on the counter attack when we do so? Seriously? I can understand JBR jumping on this, because he is still at the top of the list in a number of people's minds, and also people tend to jump on Mr Dave's bandwagon starting, but Mr Dave has just jumped to (very near) the top of my suss list. I am not voting yet, nor saying who is top of the list, because we have plenty of time, and we don't want to rush into anything (although we do want to do a bit more than the past couple of days!)

No, I haven't. Interesting, isn't it. Much as I didn't reveal suspicions of you last night. I'm casually pondering people who ponder my own extended existence. Because if I were in the bad guy role, that kind of gentle persuasion would be something I'd be pondering heavily.
Quote:

So far, the only person I've 'attacked' today has been you. And I'd hardly describe it as a counter attack. Unless you think you're Mr Russ, of course. Which, if you do, would put an interesting perspective on things.

Quote:

Now, that is a rather strange sweeping statement. 'top of the list in a number of peoples minds', eh? I'd forgotten he was even up for a vote on day 1 it was such a long time ago - and that was based on everyone following me too,and people wanting a lynch on day 1. I've checked the threads, and there's hardly a "JBR is at the top of my list" feel to it, so I wonder quite why you've come to that conclusion.
