Let's try something.

I've not read a single post so far of the actual game, except the playerlist.

There are at least 3 baddies.

Shin, Babbyaro and Joans are baddies.

Now let's see how much better I do when I have time to watch the game!

Runcle sent a PM to all the other Goblins, but unfortunately included JBR, who is actually one of the Super Junior Investigators, and so now knows who all the goblins are.

My only other option would be to modkill JBR, and killing off one of the Investigators before even the end of day 1 would pretty much doom the town.

So if you're going to restart, how right was I with the 3 predictions? :)

And no it wouldn't be fair to modkill JBR really. In Myop's game you were the architect of your own destruction, he wasn't.

Well i can see things in here now and a little bit sooner than i'd have liked :-(

Some divertion tactics and some people who cant read the rules so ask what things mean - i'm not sure if they have actually spotted for example that if a junior investigator had targetted me they would have :

Stopped me being put on the naughty list
Knew the name of a goblin

It will be interesting to see when that happens if the investigator will role claim to allow the town to down one of the goblins or not ......

It's not a tactic, it's a restriction from me - he has to put a colour in every sentence.

Quick re-read of the rules and I don't understand why. Unless it is for shits and giggles?

He's fuming - it's fucking hilarious.

Open to suggestions for more restrictions to inflict on people day 3 - I plan to make one person post entirely in rhyme, but the floor's open.

I think it's better if it's not 1000% obvious.

Like

"You must use one foreign word in each post"

Or

"You must use a line from a Spice Girls song in each post"

Or

"You must directly insult one other player in each post"

What about cannot name another player except when voting ....

Or silly ones like must always refer to themselves in the third person in each message "Duffman says ...."

Is only allowed to vote for the person who posted immediatly above them (so if you want to vote for someone you need to wait for them to post and then vote quickly afterwards)

Voted, but there was no discussion except for a brief spurt at the end. No real accusations, no digging at things people have said.

This happens a lot of the time, when the vocal good guys have been killed.

Which would lead me to expect that the often vocal people who have not been offed are bad guys.

Agreed - and add Joans to that list as well - although Joans could be Santa or a investigator and trying to be quiet - i think if CG was he'd still be much louder than he is right now

Do people agree with following logic:

Santa outs himself, and outs up to three people as good/bad.

Junior Investigators then protect Santa, so the goblins can't get him.

The only downside is that you could end up lynching the investigators, and if they were to roleclaim, they could be picked off in the night by the goblins.

Its something - however conversly - if a goblin whos looking like attracting votes gets that today and claims santa - and convinces the rest of them to off another goodie , and the goblins get another overnight then they have enough for a win (depending on numbers?)

They can't be that far off.

I'd imagine yesterday they probably spread themselves around a bit to avoid both a lynch and detection.

Your logic would work at this point, Curio - assuming that Santa actually has useful information.

Wonder if the lack of night action is a clue about the quiet people.... or a diversionary tactic by a loud person.

So the SJAs should have some info... only problem is that one of them has to pretty much sacrifice themselves to get the goblin lynched, unless they try to be subtle about it (which wouldn't work, as the goblin will be able to guess that he's been outed).

I had thought if the investigators found something then the enemy would be outed without the special investigator being outed as well ?

Although going back the rules thread reads differently , has it been updated since the start ?

If a goblin gets caught in the act, the investigators find out who it was. The investigators themselves remain unknown.

The only bit altered in the rules was the clarification that the investigators cannot spy on themselves.

Do they also find out the goblins target (thus gaining a 'known' goodie?)
