A new day dawns in Gotham City.

Has everyone survived the night? Unsurprisingly, no.

Spinglo Sponglo! is found in the street, his head decapitated from his body by a neatly cauterising blade. Ouch. Searching his house, the survivors find huge amounts of money - now, unfortunately, useless to them - and a large collection of umbrellas. Spinglo Sponglo! was... The Penguin.

Round a corner, the survivors find Mr. Dave bunched up on the floor, in a foetal position as if cowering. When he doesn't respond to his name being called, the Gothamites go to shake him out of it. The first thing they notice is a bullet hole in the back of his head, but when they get closer they find he is riddled with tiny pockmarks. Rolling him over on to his back, they find the crushed body of a robotic bee slowly leaking venomous liquid, with a giant grin painted on its little fuzzy face, matching Mr. Dave's own. It looks like a kindly soul with a handgun and a good aim managed to put him out his misery as he was suffering. A small consolation, to be sure. While carefully searching his body, the survivors find an identity badge, confirming that Mr Dave was an Arkham Guard.

And what of Arkham? Nobody is waiting outside and it still seems to be functioning. Rodafowa and Mimi sit disconsolately in their cells, but at least they have a new playmate - Mr Russ has joined them.

So is that three killing roles? Two of which were aimed at Mr Dave?

And thanks to Dr Quinn for putting me in the Asylum. You fucking moron.

You'd have to say that Azrael killed The Penguin and that The Joker and The Mafia hit Mr Dave at the same time.

I'm not sure why Azrael decided to do that, unless he was gambling on Malc telling lies. The Penguin was our best hope of finding out about the bad guys.

I can imagine my big mouth may make me a big suspect for today. Im pretty clueless after yesterdays lynch though.

I hope that since Malc has been confirmed as the penguin, everyone is satisfied that town is my win condition, and that I'm indeed just a boring, powerless cop.

Still, giving the kills that have happened, I think a pattern is emerging.

Wow. I'm genuinely stunned that Malc and Dudley were telling the truth; I was convinced they were scum. I don't see how you're confirmed as town through their deaths, though, CG.

FFS Veg, Malc investigated me last night and confirmed town as my win condition. Are you being deliberately stupid? Highly suspicious to me.

I thought Malc was on the level, pretty much, but I'm astonished Dudley was telling the truth. I've never seen anyone act more like a bad guy.

Today's suspicions:

RichardGaywood
KevR
Runcle

Given Malc's revelation about CG, I've dropped him off the list, and following that logic, LaceSensor.

I have started re-reading Day 1. On day one Dimrill is giving it all that about being the town prostitute. mr dave pops up and jokes "Oh you imposter, Zardoz is the town tramp".

Only AFTER this fact does Zardoz display any posts indicating a character role of a tramp eg. begging for change.

Mr Dave: how did you know Zardoz would be playing the character of a tramp outside of PMs?

I think Dudley was too excited about having a power-role and couldn't shut up. Many have fallen in this way.

While I'm suspicious of The Gaywood, I'm conscious of the fact that once again there are several people who have barely said a peep and have not had the least bit of suspicious cast on them.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, being quiet is a tactic that works in this game but shouldn't. I'm up for lynching somebody quiet.

There's some serious lurking going on in the game- I had no idea TsuMuch was playing until I saw him on that list at the end of day 2, Sheepeh has posted like twice and Mimi has been lurking and extremely non-committal when she does post. TsuMuch seems to be lurking the most, so I will pressure vote for him until he comes and says something.

Pressure [vote:TsuMuch]

Pst: He's dead. Of course this is the DC universe, so he's not really dead, and will come back as "The Glorious Dave" at the end of the game, with super crime-fighting bumming powers.

I've been in prison since the beginning of the game, I have no say in what's going on, no power, might as well not be here, so no, I haven't been committal, because I can't, because I have nothing to commit to.

Have all 'power roles' acted yet? If so then I can't be any of them for the start as I have been in the asylum for the whole game. I've told you what role I was given, I couldn't actually care less whether you believe it or not because these game is, for me, achingly dull.

I will continue to be non-committal because, actually, it's a pretty damn boring game for me in here and if you want to break in and kill me then do so.

Thoughts: If laceSensor really is a confirmed cop, then why after two nights has neither the mafia nor the Joker come for him? Because they want to try and off the power roles first? Or because nobody's coming for him as it was a ruse?

This is a bad defense, and it contradicts what you said yesterday which was that everything sounded equally plausible and you didn't know who to vote for. Having no vote doesn't mean you can't say who you think is suspicious, and what your opinions on the game are- if anything, it matters more that you argue them, because that becomes the most important tool you have for influencing the course of the game.

RevOwen: Have you sent reminder PMs to the serious lurkers? You may have said this already, my retention of information is poor.

I think the point at which we know there are mafia in Arkham is the point at which there is a jailbreak. At that point we will know that there is at least one Mafia in the released prisoners.

Led the parade against both characters who could have helped the town. The only other person to say they sussed him yesterday was Mr Dave. Mmmm.

And LS, you won't believe Pundabaya even if he tells you. I know I won't, anyway.

Yeah, go on. Kill me. Actually - DO kill me, because I am bored.

Then, when I am dead, non-baddies of teh game, look who decided to kill me despite it being as plain as the nose on your face that I have don nothing due to being in jail since the opening of the game.

Do this, because in the first game I told you exactly who the mafia were, and then the mafia voted to lynch me - and I said if they did lynch me to open your eyes and look to see who voted for me because I told you who was teh mafia. And they did kill me, and everyone ignored what I said, and I was right, and you lost the game.

So yeah, kill me if you want, but I hope it makes some people wake up to things.

Sheesh.

But surely you could still be mafia, who's just sitting there being surplus to requirements? I'll admit I haven't thought enough about the jailbreak mechanics to know how likely it is they'd just leave you there, though.

But you haven't told us who you think the mafia are. That's kind of why I voted for you in the first place- you haven't said very much of substance in the game so far.

Except now they may well decide to release them even if there isn't as we will all lynch the last person to go in. I would say that if there is a breakout Rodafowa would be likely to be Mafia.

Also, Mimi, The Joker can still act from within the asylum. You have been told this, but continue to play the, "all power roles have gone, therefore I am good" card.

Dudley and Malc were clearly not lying. I don't think Pundy has been either and I expect that his role has changed overnight.

Thats three town roles and you were wanting them all dead.

It might be because people will say this enough to find him suspicious, then lynch him, or just because leaving him alive means people will keep talking about him and going round in circles. I'm not sure they'd gain that much killing him at this stage.

Sheesh.

You could be the black mask, I'm assuming Mafia inside the asilum can still talk to each other?

Mimi could have said that she didn't want to be broken out, I would have thought she would have been released by now, and there is no reason for her and the mafia to think differently.

Why all the Richard Gaywood suspicion?

Led the parade against both characters who could have helped the town. The only other person to say they sussed him yesterday was Mr Dave. Mmmm.

And LS, you won't believe Pundabaya even if he tells you. I know I won't, anyway.

I fully accept responsibility in getting them both killed it just seemed highly suspectible they went about it. If you want to lynch my it would be a huge mistake and there wasnt really anybody on side in the whole thing except vegetables which I find a bit curious myself.
For proof of me barking up the wrong tree, see game 3 where I led a big campaign against mr russ and malia, although I was on the mafia I really believed they were from the cult.

For the Mafia I suspect I'm a nice diversion, keeping chumps still knocking at my door.
For the VERY VERY VERY LAST TIME I AM A COP. Sheash... I think Dudley was onto something with his GCSE comprehension quip.

I wish somebody would kill Lacesensor.

As we don't have confirmation on whether we can kill inmates [vote:unvote]
