Craster said on page 2 we were going to finish at 9.
The first post hasn't been updated and I didn't see anything since, so a lot of other people might be expecting a 9 o'clock finish as well.

Yesterday (as in Day 4) you said it was a better win for the town if we could stop the SK getting 5 kills and we needed to kill the SK to win anyway. Are you now saying the town loses tonight if we don't catch the SK?

I'd like to establish whether the town semi-wins or loses if we miss the SK first. The rules seem to be changing.

The town will not lose if we don't find the SK tonight. I presume the SK will just kill his fifth victim then scarper, leaving us with nothing to do...

If the SK wins and the game then finishes, I'd be tempted to count that a lose, personally.

Firstly, the day ends at 9pm and I can't add up. Sorry for the confusion.

If you don't find the SK today I don't think we should play another 3-4 days of Hunt The Serial Killer; with only the one guy left to find I don't think it's all that interesting to drag it out. The SK will have his win condition then which will make the whole game a Townie/SK joint win.

But they're mutually exclusive:
"Primary win types are Town (all vampires and SK dead)"

By that, we don't win if the SK is alive at the end of the game. Shrug.

Ah right, so there IS no loon.

So what do we think now.
This seems to imply there is no loon, perhaps Curiosity was taking a chance on claiming as the psychiatrist.

I can vote for Mr Chris now and it's over one way or the other, or we can see if anyone comes up with any better ideas?

If he took that chance isn't it likely he's the bad guy here?

Although I dare say you can have a psychiatrist and no loon, so there's no way to tell if he is or not.

If he's lying about being the psychiatrist then he's almost certainly the SK.
However, I'm not saying he's lying about it, just that it appears there is no loon.
There may still be one, but we're not going to hang around and find out. Perhaps the SK's 5th victim will be the loon and he will win.
Perhaps after killing his 5th victim the SK will flee town (as myp suggested) and kill the loon on his way out.
Perhaps the loon will get fed up and turn himself in.

[vote:Mr Chris]

We may as well find out what we're in for.

Mr Chris has defending himself well today but it's no use. His seeming psychic powers earlier at guessing the Vampires are too much for the crowd to believe; surely he has some unearthly knowledge from somewhere?

The scene is familiar now. Former neighbours, former friends fall upon him and push him to the floor. His writhing and wriggling is desperate, but also resigned. He knows he can't fight you all off. Grim... picks up Mr Pointy and approaches. With a feral grin, he plunges the stake into Mr Chris's chest.

A pause. A beat.

A fountain of blood erupts from the gaping wound in his chest, soaking Grim.... You all gasp; you know what this means. Mr Chris was a Vanilla Townie.

Night actions please, deadline midday Sunday (although I hope much sooner).
