Grim... and grim... weird!

okay, decision time, do we attempt to lynch someone or no? If we don't there are a lot of night actions which will tell us nothing, and allow the bad guys to do stuff, similarly the good guys, but.... I actually think we should lynch someone here, but there is not clue as to who is what so...?

It looks like we'll get no lynch today, not unreasonably. I suspect we'll have two go missing overnight - one kill by Lex, and one jailing by a policeman. Everyone else will most likely be better off investigating.

Yeah, don't count on that. It always gets me killed, and in fact I'll be very surprised if I'm not targeted by half the power roles on night one. Again.

I believe the reasoning behind that is that I asked for clarification about the rules should all the good guys end up in prison and the bad guys not. Obviously if I were evil, my plan would be to magically have the goodies arrest each other somehow. Sarcasm face.


Oh, I did have another rules question, though. Sorry if it's already been answered, but does protecting people prevent others from investigating and/or arresting them, or just from killing them?

protection is classed as a roleblock for anyone targeting the protected character, so prevents all actions against that character, sorry for not making that clear in the rules :)

I thought people normally talked a lot on day one, but don't usually lynch. That at least makes the next day's information a bit more useful, assuming there is any.

I am about to head off for lunch so will miss the end of the day. I would like a man of super to protect me tonight, please*. You know some bastard's going to try to off me.
