Ehhh, I'm not sure lynching someone at this stage is the best idea, on the other hand, lynching moves the game forward, and I've already put on my lynching hat (its one of those ones with the beercan holders on either side, with the slogan 'Lynchin' better'n NASCAR!')

Mostly wiping up shit, I believe.

Not wishing to sound like an arse, but isn't there a 'non-appearance' rule?

Yes, there is, however, he turned up yesterday evening, he didn't vote, but thats not necessary.

I suspect he'll turn up after work.

There is, but he has been on. He's been pretty quiet, but he's been on. Not turning up for a whole game day will get you modkilled, but nothing less than that.

Just because he hasn't voted, doesn't necessarily mean he hasn't had an input in the game.

Sorry all - I wasn't suggesting he hadn't been on - I was just asking about the rule.

Yeah, I meant it more in the way of reading into. If it's evidence of anything, it's evidence of him being the guard, because really their role is simply to prisoner hunt still (until they get CG).

Although if he's been on and not tried to lift CG... would that be evidence of a cagey approach, or a foolish one?

Hmm - he may have a point, this is a suspiciously male town. When I moved here I assumed the friendliness of the football team in the bath was because they were so well bonded. I may have to reconsider.

My assumption was that the mafia wouldn't kill CG (assuming he isn't mafia) because we'd obviously lynch him today. It'd be interesting to see if anything happens to him tonight.

If I'm wrong about Lace too then I truly do have a special power - an inerring ability to pick innocent townies, in which case you should all go against my gut feeling in future.

Erm, a mod should probably lock the topic until Craster gets here, given its 9 votes and lynchtime.

For better or worse, he needs to be killed.
If he is a bad guy, the benefits are obvious.
If not, he keeps having spider sense about the wrong people, and that is damaging for the town.

It could be last minute flapping and moaning, the kind a pig makes when you slit its throat. Doesn't mean it's not bacon.

Or something.

Shall we move this to the chat thread so Craster has less to look through when he gets back?

An air of doubt hovers over the town. They don't really seem all that sure about what they're doing, but are bolstered by the fact that they are, at least, doing something.

Lace is dragged into the middle of the village square, and the villagers stand around him armed with bricks and stones. "We'll drive you all out of this town, you'll see", someone shouts, and they all begin to pelt him with masonry. Before long they begin to drift away, leaving just a broken, bleeding corpse in the centre of the square. Dimrill poos on it.

Searching LaceSensor's house, the villagers find large rows of cages filled with badgers, and collections of assorted bits of the villagers' trash - it was LaceSensor who was siccing the badgers on the villagers' bins! Despite that, though, LaceSensor was a Townie.

It is now night. All players with night actions please PM me, night 2 deadline is Friday 8pm.
