So I went to this last night, as we had free tickets. The opening night of his farewell tour.
It was... ok. Some bits were quite funny, some bits were very funny indeed, the audience participation was good, and he is obviously very accomplished at what he does. It's just that what he does is a bit shit for the most of it.
It really is an echo from the past, the older generation in the audience were dying with laughter, us not so much
The real problem I had with it was the constant casual racism, and i'm usually pretty thick skinned when it comes to that sort of thing.
