I think the problem now is that there are not as many people stuck in the Xbox infrastructure as there was before (lapsed gold) , and there is nothing 'big' due out that people can see themselves spending the points on. You also need to consider that anything converted over from points has an expiry date and that anything you buy 'dies' with the 360 (Sony have at least said that some stuff will carry over for cross buy but Microsoft have not) Just throwing numbers up : So you can pay money directly to Microsoft (and not worry about points expiring) and your £17 is worth £17 You can buy a points card from Amazon and your £17 is worth £17.85 (£17 gets you 2100 points) Or they can buy your cards and their £17 is worth £20.40 So its worthwhile if someone is looking to buy something *now* and save a few quid but unless there is something they already have their eye on I think it will be hard to sell these on (FYI in the past I always bought points cards on the cheap and stacked up thousands of points but I ran my account down and after the conversion i've only about £5 left on their system and dont really intend to bulk it up again) Not trying to de-rail your sales thread but might make it clearer why these are not being snapped up (which I think probably would have happened a year or so ago) |

Indeed, that microsoft have seen fit to basically remove money that Ive spent makotos me unlikely to go.putting anymore money in. Its like nintendos.star fiasco, but rather than loyalty points, its actual money theyre taking. Also, I try and avoid Ｐａｙｐａｌ．ｔoo. |
