Good month but I won't be renewing my sub as I've already clocked Bloodbourne.

...it's not got the DLC too has it?

Speaking of vomitting (in an entirely separate thread about something else) I just read that the PS4 version of Trackmania Turbo comes with PSVR support. Frankly, that sounds even more terrifying than Wipeout in VR (oh that was what they were talking about).

Fuck balls, I was kind of hoping this month would have nothing I care about given how much of life Bloodborne is likely to take to finish.

Although someone on Reddit had this to say so the VR part sounds pretty short and not too vomity:

Quote:
Trackmania in VR is amazing, but...

I played through the entire experience getting a gold medal on all 40 tracks in about 1-2 hours or so. The game looks absolutely amazing, I'd say it's probably the sharpest, prettiest game I've tried, and it works really well.

But that's it, just 40 easy tracks.

The VR is extremely well implemented to not make you sick. When you crash it doesn't go all Drive Club on you and spin your view around like a jerk, it just lets the camera keep moving in the same direction it was going when you crashed and fades to black. This is the way to do VR racing games. An optional cockpit perspective would've helped, but you can't have it all.

But don't get this just for the VR. It's just too short for that. It'll just make you wish the whole thing was in VR, but I guess with these amazing visuals, they probably just couldn't make multiplayer and bigger tracks work, so they neutered the game. What it does, however, is showcase the huge potential for racing games in VR. Driveclub wasn't ready, but this is. A very polished experience, and as a free upgrade for owners of the game, I really can't complain.

If the worst thing I can say about a free upgrade is that I wish there was more of it, then that is alright in my book.

I wish folks would just number their games linearly. I haven’t got a sodding clue whether I’ve played that Rayman. If it’s the one with the musical boss fights I’ll be slobbering all over it.

Rayman has been on my wishlist for ages, quite happy with that.

Anything by Cage I rather ignore after Fahrenheit. Which was poo.

Is that Rayman something that a 7 year old might like, or is it too tricky?

Yes, it certainly is, certainly in coop mode with her friends, or with you for the tricky parts..

Have I invented it in my head or was Trackmania Turbo not a PS+ game recently? I just finally got round to firing it up to check out the VR mode but it's just the demo I've got and it wants £25 to unlock the full game.

April

https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2018/03 ... nia-turbo/

If you 'bought it' by adding it to your trolly and then hitting purchase you should have the full game
If you did not then you'll just have the demo - i've not see any where you had to download or do anything in game to unlock - worth looking at your purchase history on the PSN store or if you keep the emails check for the one you got that month to make sure you added it - my email from them was dated 3rd of April :

Quote:
Details Unit of Price

Trackmania® Turbo (Full Game) £0.00

A Q*bert: Rebooted Game and Pixels Theme Bundle (Full Game) £0.00

Toy Home™ (Full Game) £0.00

In Space We Brawl (Full Game) £0.00

99Vidas (Full Game) £0.00

This is not a VAT/GST invoice. Total: £0.00

I'll play the single player campaign because there's usually some dumb popcorn fun to be had with them and I don't think I've played one since Modern Warfare 2.

I can usually find the time for a six hour, dumb, glossy shooting campaign full of big explosions and whatnot.

Last one I played was Advanced Warfare, and that was good fun. I've got no time for the multiplayer though.
