Down to sub £20 now, that's cheap enough for me to give it a go.

Need to spend more time on this but FarCry4 is hogging the PS4 still.

Do we have enough players for a BeeX driving event?

They've got this set up in the demo ps4 in my local Game, and each time I've thought it was the boringest thing I've ever seen.

Is it possible to disable the corner, wall collision and car collision penalties? I couldn't see any options for it in the shop but that might be because it's a demo. I think I'd like it a lot more if it didn't penalise improvisational driving.

One of the recent updates changed what you get penalised for, and made it far more forgiving.

That's even worse! They can't just arbitrarily change the rules like that!

I could've gotten used to the nerd rules in time. Now I can't even play by them even if I wanted to!

Exclamation marks!

I have bought this so would be up for some calendar-free social online gaming.

I was going to buy this then had a massive pissy fit that you can't download the full game from the store if you have PS+, and the PS+ to full game upgrade costs £36 compared to the shopto physical full game price.

(further searching suggested that there is virtually nowhere that is selling the full game for more than the upgrade price, leading to further screaming).

Had Driveclub PS+ Edition been a launch title then it's possible it would have made more sense when the game was £50 in shops. Not now though.

No doubt it made sense at some point. But I came to this Generation full of hope that some of the quirks of Official Store downloads would have been resolved at least to some degree. This is a worse result then when you went on the 360 online store and found that a game retailing at £30 in Game was still showing as £50 in the store.

Obligatory questions:
Is he/she:
- A dick
- A Hippo(potamus)
- Dimrill
- made out of pure french cow cheese

Acceptance is based on none oF these criteria.

Really enjoyed the quick go I had last night, love the time trials on the Norway courses. Mangaged to unlock a couple of cars, also noticed a few free bits in the DLC section so have a look if you haven't already.

Do some single events to have a look at the rain and weather, it looks properly amazing sometimes.

I sent you an invite to the club but I think you just "liked" the fact that I had invited you rather than accepting it. Also clubs seem to be limited to six people.

Yeah I was jumping into a variety of races last night, the lighting is stunning at times too.

Your invite came through my phone (there's an app for that TM) so it liked it when I replied :)

Accepted inv once in the proper game and tried to join you last night late on but you buggered off.

It's easy actually, although it involves using iTunes on a computer, so probably enough to put most people off.

The main issue with this game is that the gamma settings are fucked with no way to fix it. Crushed blacks all over the shop!

I'll be in. Uncertain if I'll be installed tonight or tomorrow at the moment though, once the 238957Gb patch has run through the system. Still, I'll be happy and gloating that I didn't also have to download the 1% of game that actually arrives on bluray!

Nah, it's fucked, but depending on your kit you may not notice it. My TV can handle RGB Full, which is what the PS4 sets to when on automatic (and every other game looks fine). Driveclub seems to be sending out RGB Limited no matter what the setting on the PS4, which combined with having the PS4 on Full mode causes detail to get lost. Switching the PS4 to force RGB limited mode fixes it as they both line up again, but that means switching it back again when I want to play other stuff.

Edit: success! If I force the PS4 to full and the TV to Full, it all works out. Looks like it some weird HDMI sync bug between the TV, PS4 and Game. Strange how other games don't have an issue with my TV when everything is set to Auto mode.

Crappier players? You may well live to regret that remark. And last time I looked Zardoz was in our one so...actually I'm not sure what I'm trying to say here.

Well, I can confirm that I am most definitely a crappy player. Especially when it comes to driving (repeatedly into Armco) games.

Quite good fun though.
