In the conspiracy theorist world, accidents never just 'happen', bad people are incapable of jury-rigging explosives and setting them off and no lone nut wanted to settle a grudge.

It's a bizarre world. And they're idiots.

Obvious tinfoil hat stuff and really nasty images. I am not that squeemish, for me the expressions of shock and fear is almost worse than the injuries.

I recently deleted from Facebook a former acquaintence who continuously posted nutjob consipracy theory guff. The guff was actually fairly entertaining, but then he started sharing BNP status updates and that was much less so.

Anyway, I digress, it's something I've always found interesting how there are people that seem to get so heavily into this whole 'conspiracy' mindset - where absolutely everything has to be 'staged' or 'faked' as some kind of propaganda created by the government or the Illuminati or the lizard-people or whoever to fuck knows what end. How do you end up like that? Where something shitty can happen somewhere in the world and your very first thought it "the Government staged this!"?

The government in Afghanistan must be incredibly efficient; they have bloody loads of bombs!

My wife's half-brother's mum keeps posting bollocks about how electricity smart meters are part of some illuminati conspiracy so I've had to block her, the mentalist loonbucket.

Facebook allows me way too much of a view of people's minds. I liked a number of people way more before Facebook showed me the real them. TAKE NOTE, MYSTERY BEEXER GOING ON A DATE THIS SATURDAY.

The only thing I use Facebook for, is to get people to send me tickets to open up new candy crush levels, so I don't have to pay for them...
