The blind guy'll win then.

There's some fantastic eye candy in there, and I like the really happy lasses (Cookie girl, Big Tits and Rachel). The two black girls seem to be carbon copies of each other, personality-wise.

Davina is looking old.

Yeah, they'll either be best friends or fucking hate each other.

For entertainment's sake, hopefully the latter.

Why is it that the black girls on Big Brother have to have "a-tit-chood"? And the gay men to scream like banshees?
If you want arguments, just pick people that are really not going to get on, like a homophobe and a gay man (Hell's Kitchen got that spot on with Jim Davidson (although he wasn't as bad as I was expecting) and squealing camp Brian (who - aha - came from BB3)).

They can't be seen to be engineering the conflicts too much in case it goes too far and they end up with another Shilpa Shetty scenario.

I particularly liked the episode where Jason threatened to "rip the head off" Marco and the subsequent violent threats that were made between the Jungle Cats and Marco's Harem.

How Jason didn't literally pummel that mincing antagonist I'll never know. Jason had his issues, but the only thing worse than someone camp who is oblivoius to just how pointless 99% of every thing they do is, is a person who does know, and knows how much they get on your nerves, and who then go out of their way to be in your face as much as possible.

Such are 'fair game' in the Tom Cruise sense. Destroy. Starting with Marco.

what the fuck is up with Silas, and that blind guy, what a cruel joke to dress him as Pocahontas.

the welsh bird is fit, so is the blonde slag.

Dale needs to die but then most girls will probably be wet already...

tbh 3 fitties worth checking out in their skinnies, good ratio

plus you have the sight gags of the blind dude, Dale, Sly Stallone, Silas and that horse in the purple dress (the non fit black girl).

looks like it could be a good series, and I dont like BB at all.

the cookie monster, banshee beth ditto, and the stiff in the suit can all promptly die however.

I'm finding it very hard not to be quite angry at some of the things said in this thread.

Never go to RLLMUK, Meems. Several acres of the site are comments like this. Several acres of the internet, really.

Some of it catches me as toned with unpleasantness, yes - but then I think that's part of the 'Big Brother' effect. These people are deliberately making an exhibition of themselves, to the point of altering their own behaviour to become more attention grabbing. As a result they tend to attract more judgemental commentary than other people thrust into the spotlight.

Big Brother is like the movie War Games, you can't be pro or con it - the only way to win is not to play.

Oh boo hoo

I went to the official site, to actually see some biogs, and under the biogs there are peoples comments. The first 8 million for Dale are the equivalent of this:

"OMG HEs SOOO f1T LOLZ OBVS BLATZ !!!one!!!eleven"

So, theres your demographic.
No need to get upset at me just telling it like it is.

the reason I said the part of him needing to die is because on his VT, he said "if there's any fanny in there, I'll be the first to nail it"
and he has a girlfriend.
Ergo, the guy is a complete cunt.

But remember there could be some clever editing going on, and he could have said "If there's any fanny in there, and I had split up with my missus, I'll be the first to nail it." which is at least somewhat better, and... Oh, what's the point? He's a cunt, isn't he?

anyway, for all the namby pamby people getting upset by comments such as mine, seriously, get over it.

Personally I desire anyone who steps into the Big Brother House to be magically cast back in time to the Middle Ages, where they find they have to suddenly adapt to having survive, and in lieu of working as a farm labourer to eke out enough to live upon they opt instead to screech wildly and relentlessly complain, until they're shot through their stupid heads with an arrow fired by Richard Greene, or hacked to bits with outmoded farming implements.

But then, I really do hate the show that much.

No, I meant just because you are so shallow to judge a load of people on their looks doesn't mean that you should automatically assume that everyone else does. Mohammed seemed like a nice, friendly guy with his head screwed on the right way, though.

But at the moment, looks are practically the only thing we've got to go on. Looks and a heavily-edited, very nervous set of answers to questions.

I have qualified my judgement already.
I didnt judge Dale on his looks personally, I judged him on what he said in his interview. The fact is that indiscretions such as this will undoubtably be overlooked by the shallow masses based on his looks. Go read the BB biog site for proof.

If you wanna get off your high horse and apologise for calling me shallow that'd be ace.

I should have known better than to drop into this thread. Big Brother is made by the lowest dregs in TV featuring the lowest dregs of society so that everyone else can point and laugh. It's the 21st century version of the circus freak.

"Roll up, roll up, see the bearded lady, laugh at the midget, etc."

Big Brother makes me very sad.

Maybe, but some people obviously were able to present themselves a bit better. People that say things like "yeah, I'm great looking, If there's any fanny in there I'm definitely going to nail it" are either showboating to the point that they must realise that they are being morons, or just morons.

First impressions do count. I know what you are saying about heavy editing, but really, they haven't superimposed those words into the clip, he did say that, he must have known how it sounded. The few people that seemed genuinely nice didn't come over as cretins because they had nothing to edit down into moron-talk. I don't even think that Dale is god looking, he looks like half the guys that go to Uni around here, and just a normal bloke, but that's not what I take first impressions from either way.

Why the hell would any one want to go on this anymore? You'll be booed, insulted in the press and then when you get kicked out you'll get a picture in Heat magazine and then disappear forever, rising every now and then to get mocked and ridiculed.

No, I think it was shallow. And I didn't say you judged dale on his looks. What I said was that 'most girls would be wet already', which sounded like just because you were dividing people into 'three hotties in their skinnies' a 'horse', etc (which are all pretty shallow, so I am sorry but I will not be apologising), that women would be 'wet' just because this Dale person were perceived as good looking. Pffftttt.

Fair so, I just feel a minor, murderous rage when I hear it, no worries. :)

I agree with Mimi in 99.9% of all things, including the need never to judge a person off hand and to treat people with the dignity afforded to human beings. On the other hand, it's Big Brother.

And that's enough of this thread for me! :)

Pffftttt.

Not wanting to get too involved but that is nothing like what you actually said.

Also, it's Big Brother, people. Let's not fall out over it.

Mmmmmm... Yes, I said that was the thing that was making me feel most angry. I think that was a horrible statement, that most women would be 'wet already'... I just think that is horrible to think that all women would still fancy a guy that was talking in his interview like he was God's gift, and assuming that he could 'nail' any 'fanny' in there, just because he was a bit better looking than some others, even though, by his own post, LaceSensor says as much that Dale is horrible because he says 'he needs to die'. It's just a shame that people assume everyone to judge people only on their looks.

If you thought I meant that I was upset by him saying that Dale 'needs to die', that's not what I meant. I certainly don't think he needs to die but he doesn't seem like a very pleasant man on first impressions.

Nah, he can't have - he's on Big Brother. :)

It'd be hilarious if he actually *was* a terrorist and blew them all up.
Man, the tabloids would figuratively implode.

I noticed that the two people who they said were Muslim didn't appear to be practising Islam at all. one said that she wasn't practising at the moment the other said he drinks, eats pork, has unmarried sex. I don't know at what point you start to think that someone isn't actually a muslim at all but rather just of Muslim parentage, but I think they are there. If this is channel 4's attempt to make Muslim people more accepted into the media and to show how nice they are then it is quite patronising for a start, but I'd also say that they are hardly representative of the Islamic community. I have never known them to mention religion before, but over half the people going in got a religion check.

If I may I think it's reasonably clear we're talking about the kind of woman who'd go on Big Brother, in series NINE, in which case most of those assumptions are not completely unreasonable, especially if you've ever ventured onto DigitalSpy's BB section.

Don't venture onto DS's BB section. Ever.

First up, I never said everyone I said most. Critical difference there.

Ever heard of exaggeration and saying things for effect? Honestly....
Obviously I don't wish him dead, but its an effective way of stating the fact that I dont approve of the guy.

Also - FACT - there are many many many many girls out there who will support the guy based on his looks - again - perhaps their vagina walls wont be measurably more moist, thats just more exaggeration.

If you deny that people get supported due to looks, you are either a big liar or deluded in the extreme.

Then he implied that he was a virgin, oddly.
