All this hate for Parks and Recs makes me want to watch it. It's very rare I like any of the comedies you guys watch.

You should avoid Brooklyn Nine Nine, then - it's childish as Hell and I liked it :)

I need to give Parks and Rec another chance. I was put off by the pilot episode being a bit rubbish.

I just got halfway through the pilot, then gave up.

Apparently from the second series it's the best comedy going, but I just can't be arsed.

Parks and Rec is very good, but it does improve massively in the second season and I don't knew if I'd have persevered if Mrs B wasn't driving our watching of it. It's totally worth it though now I've got into it.

Russell and I started Parks & Rec and hade it through about 2-3 episodes, but I didn't enjoy any of them so gave up on it.Then we found Community which we loved up until the last series, which just didn't click with me. Is the new series any better?

Yep. I've not watched episode 4 yet, but the first three were brilliant

Do I have to plough through the last series to get it?

Not really, though it's probably worth watching the last episode of S4.

Season 9 of Always Sunny was pretty good, but nowhere near the quality of Season 8. Also too short at just 10 eps!

Not so sure about the new Community series, Chevy Chase's character made me laugh a lot as he was so inappropriate.

S1 of Parks & Rec is an ill-conceived The Office-alike. It picks up pretty much right at the start of S2 and by the end of that season through about S4 it is literally. The best comedy on TV.

The new series of Community is much better than last year's zombie season, yeah.

Started watching Brooklyn Nine Nine with one of the boys yesterday, I like it a lot. I thought it'd be sillier than it is so wasn't sure I'd get on with it; I hate canned laughter American sitcoms that you can see the punchline from space and everyone pulls comedy faces so you know when the joke happened but this is funny, well written and the acting is good.

And it doesn't have canned laughter.

First episode showed a lot of potential.

Ok it is just me then, I hated it along with The Tomorrow People which also started on E4.
