Gratuitous Photo of Your Year - 2013

Ok, it's not the 31st yet (and isn't Wednesday either) but I'm off to the wilds of Wales today so doing this now.

It's the Gratuitous Photo of Your Year. Post one picture of you that has a happy memory of 2013 . Not perhaps the best shot you've taken, and no doubt you have had many great moments, but just pick one moment you'll look back on in years to come over whiskey and cigars.

This was taken at the top of Mount Brandon on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. There were supposedly some breathtaking views to be had beneath the clouds. A really fun holiday, camping and hiking through beautiful countryside.

Whilst 2013 was a bit of a disappointment for me in certain ways, I'm going to remember the good times and look forward to a great 2014.

That was taken at a friend of MissChap's wedding. It wasn't the wedding itself, but that particular month I seem to remember I was at my happiest.

This picture was a selfie by me in Central Park in New York, seconds before my girlfriend proposed to me. I love how happy I was even though I was totally oblivious and my girlfriend looks like she's got a secret!

Best gig this year was Arcade Fire in Blackpool so here's a piccy from the front ( managed to help the security lift up three folk who were worse for wear)

Kettlewell, May 2013. We were wrong. The top would mark 25 miles of uphill. Which was 3 miles away.
