The pole vault only seems not weird because it's a 'traditional' track and field sport. See also: Triple Jump, hammer throw.

Every week I'm amazed at how epic Penny's tits are. Especially in that Cheesecake Factory uniform.

Tonsils out as an adult is horrid horrid. I had them out about 6 years back when they thought I had lymphoma. I didn't, but they hacked them out anyway. A month of horrific pain and not being able to eat anything except soup and noodles.

My sisters other half had it done this year (he's 40). He had a couple of weeks of discomfort but nothing major from what he told me.

Craster, did you stop cottaging?

How often do you get tonsillitis? I used to get it 2-3 times a year; was very annoying.

They scanned my head and found the root cause was my sinuses being permanently blocked, causing infected gloop to drop on to said tonsils all the time. So I had my sinuses cut open via operation, and am better now.

Still get it once a year, perhaps, due to the fact that my tonsils have largely disintegrated, but it has massively improved my respitory system in general; even reduced my hayfever!

A couple of times a year, but I also have tonsil stones which are extremely annoying, and the only way to get rid of those is to have the tonsils out.
