Yeah, that's the one.

Nice subtle taste.

I need beers now.

One minute they are able to pick people off at will, the next they are standing over you giving you enough time to conduct a elaborate and drawn out escape,

Is gaelic for heather :)

Mmm. Yes, that one is lovely - they have gift packs of the Scottish beers that make it over here at Christmas.
Their pine ale, however, is not very nice. Like alcoholic floor cleaner.

By strange coincidence, I've just started a bottled beer thread! Over there, look!

Specialist and novelty beers have been a lifelong source of disappointment to me.

I love beer. Shit, I love novelty, too. So basically, this should be a match made in heaven, right? Sadly however, the reality, for me at least, has always been something that tastes gash/like absolute piss/sweet, fruity shite or whatever. Or, at the absolute best, a case of "no, actually, I much prefer normal beer". :'(

I'd love to be proven wrong on this, but there you go. That's always been my experience.

You can't just write off all specialists beers!

Anyway, that's really for the beer thread.

Gosh, I believe I may have just spent what was supposed to be the entire working day doing very little.

I'll now be up all night doing the work I was supposed to be doing when dicking around in the snow.

Gah!

You'd better produce some pictures! I don't want to be enticed by a giant Lego store like this without photos!

Actually, come to think of it, is there any evidence you aren't just holed up in a shed near Swindon with a case of beers and a dozen strippers?

Oh, I'm not. Just saying all the ones that I've tried personally have ranged from 'disappointing, would rather have normal stuff' to 'bleugh! :spew: '

Excellent. The door on mine doesn't shut properly every time so now is my time to strike.

I don't get this. Surely if it's very close to, or below freezing outside (and I'm assuming we *are* talking garage freezers here, not ones inside the house since in that case, the temperature outside doesn't matter one way or the other), said freezers won't defrost at all, or bloody slowly?

I take it as I've got somewhere to put the food so it doesn't defrost while I'm scraping the freezer.

Ah right, sorry.
Wouldn't last 10 mins around here - the rural foxes would be all over it, big time.
