All my Forgeworld stuff was given to me yesterday by lovely Hell's. I spent a large chunk of last night assembling the 2 gorgeous Dreads. Trying to resist buying the chaos titan :S

I meant to spend yesterday doing a load of painting. I spent the day rigging up a pressurised CO2 feed for the fish tank instead. Man I'm dull.

I might be tempted, but £19-25 gets you a lot of Gundam goodness.

They are about twice the height of a Space Marine scout.

so about 50ish mm, depending on pose/ options.

The glass is the exact dimension of a Coke can. One of the plague marines I'm working on in the foreground to give an idea of vs infantry size.

Take your pick, chuckles. I want the sonic dread next, as the Emperor's Children are next in my heart to Nurgle. The glass was given away free at McDonald's in August.

Dangerous words, Dimrill. I suspect with this size-bound arms race you won't be happy until you have a Chaos Moon-on-a-Stick, with a scary Tzeentchey face on it. Do they still do Tzeentch?

Washes - does anyone have any tips on using Vallejo paints thinned for washes? When thinned with water as a wash, it seems to run all over the place, unlike thinned GW paints. Does it need a drop of washing up liquid or similar?

That'd be the surface tension, I would've thought. You could try the Fairy Liquid (fnarr).

Wouldn't breaking the surface tension with washing-up liquid cause it to run everywhere, rather than the opposite?

Ha, yeah, I saw that somewhere. I'm disappointed by how the Forgeworld Epic range has been shrinking, though. E.g. They've dropped most of their terrain, which is irritating.

Epic everything has been shrinking. I've still got 2 Tyranid Dominatrix, 2 packs of Hive Tyrants and some Ork Big Gunz to flog on eBay at some point. Was well pleased when a new nerdlinger shop opened in Lichfield and he had a rack of Epic stuff. I snaffed the lot.
