I've got about 3 or 4 "in progress" and I finished one of my Forgeworld Death Guard, but I'm not too happy with him.

Oh, stock up on paints, washes, metal minis because at the end of the month the price is going up. (along with everything at the moment. Stupid oil prices) but plastic kits are staying the same price.

According to GW, its not a profiteering exercise, Tin (a large component of metal minis) has gone up 400% in the last couple of years, and keeps rising, and shipping on everything is going sky high.

Funnily enough, though, metal minis from 90% of other manufacturers are much cheaper... But no. They're not profiteering. Well, not any more than they have done for the last 10 years...

Ooh - this month's White Dwarf has one of the nice new plastic termies free on the cover. Ananork.

Helen came in to one once to rescue me from the avid sales staff in there. I only wanted some Nurglings and they kept me talking and hard selling for 20 minutes.

I'm put off going into Games Workshop's firstly because someone might see me enter/ leave, but also because of the noxious hum of armpit that assaults your nostrils the second you step through the door.

Indeed! I've been in a grand total of one once in the last 10 years, which was the one Hell's Bells had to rescue me from. I walked past it 4 times before plucking up the courage to go in and try to grab the precious Nurglings.

This is why eBay is so wonderful.

I'd agree, but the Nurglings had just been released, meaning that they were selling above RRP before the postage costs were added.

OOh. Assault on Black Reach. Space Marine-y goodness. And Ork goodness as well. I like the Deffcopters alomost too much. Must resist getting ork army.

Nice highlights. I can't offer any more comments because I'm in a crowded office and don't dare leave the picture on screen for more than half a second lest my colleagues see it.

My finger hurts. I've just undercoated

*ten tactical marines (from Assault on Black Reach)
*Dreadnought (ditto)
* Marine captain (ditto)
*5 terminators (ditto)
*Another five terminators
*A rhino APC.

I used a whole tin of spray. And I gave my painted miniatures a light coat of varnish beforehand. By the end, my finger was ordered to push the button, and it refused.

Aw man, my lovely missus has bought me the 2 Forgeworld Nurgle dreadnoughts and the Death Guard Terminator sets for my birthdy.
