So I still haven't had to make a single cup of hot beverage for anyone but myself, nor have I done any photocopying for anyone but me. I have been to Bradford Crown Court for an Infant Approval Hearing and I've also got loads of pretty serious cases, including deaths and serious injuries. Bit grim, some of them, but I'm getting the high quantum stuff because I'm assisting the partners. |

(Still don't want to do this PI malarky as a career, but being shown the ropes by partners with decades of experience between them is really good. What's my best option for expanding my 360's storage from original 20GB drive, these days? Get ripped off on a small hard drive in a fancy box, or buy nice cheap 16GB flash sticks as and when? I'm not particularly interested in second-hand drives, because I'm a mug. Hm, maybe I should ask this somewhere that hasn't just decamped en masse to a fucking cottage in the middle of nowhere. |

In half an hour I picked 90% of the peppers at the allotment. 2.3kg of unripe chillis, 200g of maybe-ripe purple gusto, 1.1kg of half-ripe salad peppers, and only a few salad peppers left for another day. There're a few more in the garden but that's it, 4.5kg if I'm lucky of salad and chilli peppers total. Last year I getting 2kg of ripe chillis A MONTH. I know i halved the number of plants but wow, terrible year. |
